1. Project Scope
The scope of the project is to design a network system for HiTech
Telecommunications. HiTech Telecommunications got multiple branches in multiple
locations. HiTech Telecommunications is getting the web based orders more.So
webservers needs to be setup. Chat servers needs to be set. Entire facility got chat
server too. Servers needs to be protected from web based attacks. Both LAN and
WAN should be designed.
2. Project requirements
Proper switch configuration should be there to match the LAN requirements
Proper router configuration should be there to match the WAN requirements
Web server should be configured and kept in proper location to serve LAN and WAN
users
Both wired and wireless network should be designed
Secure connections should be setup in few services.
3. Network Design strategy
Routers
Cisco 2900 Series Integrated Services Routers
Cisco 2900 series Integrated services Routers (ISR) are mainly designed for the
demands of the application, nowadays the branches have the medium sized and the
cloud based service have been evolved. The WLAN connection have high

performance range from above 70 megabits, and they delivers the application by a
virtualized and the collaboration as highly secured.
Switches
Cisco Catalyst 3650 Series
The network has wired and wireless have the coverage area. The operation
leads a simple work it gives the reliability that you want and gives the good
experiences to each user. The miniseries have more than 3000 to the multi gigabit of
the 3650 and the Ethernet switches has become more universal power, the mobiles
devices is start for the network and supports the needs.
4 x 10 Gigabit Ethernet with SFP+ uplinks
More than 40 UPOE ports
1100 WAC default AC power supply
Supports Catalyst Multi gigabit technology
Enhanced Limited Lifetime Warranty (E-LLW
Firewall
ASA 5516-X with FirePOWER Services
Firewall protection, VLAN support, and VPN support in a rack-mounted model used in the

Servers
PowerEdge T630 Tower Server
The PowerEdge T630 Tower Server has the huge range of the drive and
workload has been demand by a simple server and gives the 2-socket of the peak to
perform and it contains more capacity of the internal storage.
Processor & Chipset
 Intel® Xeon® processor E5 2600 v4 product family
ï‚· Intel C610 series chipset
Operating System
Microsoft® Windows Server® 2016
Memory
64GB DDR4
Drive Bays
ï‚· We are some additional resources one is Internal hard drive bay and another one is hot-plug
backplane: the below statement tells about the range of internal hard drive bay.
Up to 8 x 3.5
ï‚· SAS, SATA, Near-Line SAS, SSD, and PCIe SSD.
ï‚· These drives are applicable with optional flex bay.
Chassis
Form Factor:
The ECC memory, SDSC is the most important feature used in the 5U- the 5U is a type of form
factor is also contains some additional resources. SDSC stands for single device data correction
it means only one device is used for correct the fault data.

• Network Design strategy
The network design helps to improve the network performance, and also it provide the
effective solution two important strategies are used one is scalability and another one
is availability. The enterprise networks needs a foundational design for achieving
scalability and availability.
Scalable bandwidth to remote branches
The main reason for increasing the capacity of the network to solve the increase of the
bandwidth link in WAN. The links were the WAN circuits it provides the over-
utilized. The traffic has travel to access the network. The hi-tech communication has
become lower bandwidth compare with other network. So we have use lower
bandwidth for the remote sites. The size is more 190 for branch office.
Routed Access Layer
The routed access layer is used for migrate the access layer. We are using
multiple layer models in every campus, for routing the distribution and also the core
switches. Basically the router access layer is vey faster compared to other layers,
management is easy and balancing the load. The distribution is switched off by layer 2

and 3 these layers are also known as traditional layers. The access layer has used the
STP for the convergence, and then it gives the free topology. It deploys two protocols
as OSPF or EIGRP in the switches it provides the faster experience. Normally three
different types of layers are used in the routed access layer.
Network Redundancy
The OSI model of all the network layer has the fault tolerance to aggregate. It starts with
physical layer by the redundancy link and the load balancing is done by the application layer.
And also application layer perform the clustering operation. In this situation most of the
companies needs to specify the total amount of time and also require the effective operations.
The annual percentage has expressed the SLA. The target is more than 90% or less than 99%.
That planned by the out stages.
