Executive Summary
In this report, we are going to give detailed information about the requirements Priority Advertising
need in the company. The company has recently made a five-story building in which they want to
establish five different kinds of the departments called as the marketing department, Advertising
department, Graphic Designing department, Photography department and the HR or accounting
department. So, there will be a need for the network and management group that can be able to
solve the issues the company is having and to make a better networking system for the company.
Here the company will be adopting the better systems so that they can be able to make better
videos, for the general use, for filming and for the graphic productions as well.

Introduction
There are different kinds of companies that are opening in today’s time. There is nothing more
important for a start-up company or the company who wants a shift from their system from the
older version to the new version which has the better ability to od the work of company and to work
easily on the projects. This becomes very important for a company to change the systems as soon as
possible but this can be done with the help of contractor that can suggest them better with the
systems that can fulfil all the regiments of the company. This is needed because it will help the
company to remain in the shape and when company remains in the shape than they can produce
better of what their clients want from their side.

Goals and objective
Here Priority Advertising company need the best infrastructure for their company. They are using
very old systems so there will be a need for better system implementation (Kontoudis and Fouliras,
2014). There will be a need of:
 Internet service
 Computer systems
 Hardware and Software requirements
 Cost analysis
 ISP and network security.
These things will be needed here in the company which will be determined with the help of some
practical work. The documentation will be needed here to achieve all the requirements of the
company.
Technical solution
As the company need to shift from their old system to the latest systems that can help them to
provide better functionality in the Video making, video editing, film production and graphic
production. So, for this some of the technical solutions can be:
 The computer systems should have better RAM’s and Hard disk to process fast.
 The printers need to be better that can produce more pages per minute with the good printing
quality.
 Network system should be changed with the best modems and using the NAT/DHCP like network
services.
 The network security with the help of a firewall can be implemented that will help to secure the
network systems.
Methodology
Here in the Priority Advertising company, the methodology that is being used for the purpose of
constructing a better phase for the development of the network model will be divided into different
phases. The reequipment of software’s and hardware’s will be determined first. Then the cost
analysis will be done so that it can be estimated how much company need to invest in purchasing of
the new systems.
After the cost estimation will be done, then the network setup will start in which the documentation
related to ISP, the network system that can be able to connect the office of Priory Advertising with
each other. This methodology is taken because it will give a brief of how things will be done in order
to achieve all the requirements of the company (Kontoudis and Fouliras, 2014).
Future plan
The model that will be suggested here will help the company to grow in the upcoming future. The
company will find better ways through which it will be easy for a Priority Advertising company to
expand their project and can work for more clients.
The network system that is planned here will be better and it is done in accordance with what the
company requires. All the company requirements have been full filled here with the suggested
network plan. This network plan will provide or able to open many new opportunities in the
networking area (Kontoudis and Fouliras, 2014).

Recommendation for Network component
Activity-1 A specific computer system for Company
The company will here work in different areas and hence they will be going to require different kinds
of computer systems. So, different areas will have different kinds of the system as: -
1. For general use: - When talking about the general use in a Priority Advertising company, the
company will be going to looks for the Personal computers in the company. The personal computer
will be chosen because personal computers are said to provide more power to the system instead
of the laptops. When we need to set up a computer in the company, we will be going to choose the
best and best price for the computer will be from $500-$700 (Balasubramanium, 2015).
2. Graphic production: - When talking about the case of graphical production, the company need to
focus more in this area. The personal computers need to be installed with the latest Nvidia
GeForce RTX Ti graphics card. As this company is a medium-sized company so instead of using the
MAC books, we can install the best graphics card on a personal computer. The new graphics card
will be in between $200-$250. This will be the best price for the graphics card need in the
company.
3. Film production: - When talking about the film production the computer system needs to be
equipped with the best possible systems. So, for the production of the film, the best computer that
can get is the system with at least 16Gb of the Ram. The system with 2TB of the hard disk will say
to be the best system through which the fil production work can be done. The price for the hard
disk of at least 2TB will cost between $70-$90. The price for the 16 GB of RAM will cost between
$80-$100 (Balasubramanium, 2015).

Activity 4 Choice of devices to be used
Following are mentioned some of the best high speed color copiers, color printers as well as
scanners along with the description of the corresponding routers, switches and access pints that can
be used with them for the priority advertising office that is situated in the organization.
1. Printers/ Scanner/ Copiers: As per some studies and researches that are done in the past on
the same topic, one of the best printers/ copiers/ scanner that can be used in the present
time is the Brother HL- L8360CDW. It is said to be a toner which is having a very high
capacity and the print speed is also known to be very high. The print speed of it is known to
be 33 Pages per minute. The primary paper tray of this device can hold up to 250 pages at a
time. In addition it is also having the ability to add additional trays that can increase the
number of pages to 1300 pages. The primary tray of this printer can also be used as a

the organization are Ubiquiti UniFi UAP, an access point that consist of 3 dual band antennas

also very less and rarely exceeds the value of 9 Watts. Another good choice for access points
in this case is TP-Link TL-WA801ND. This is a good choice for an access point as it consists of
3 omnidirectional antennas which are having the features of technologies such as CCA and
MIMO which allows the device to work with their maximum efficiency. One of the major
advantages of this access point is that it can work in 5 different modes such as wireless
repeater, multi SSID, bridge mode, wireless access point and also the client mode. Due to its
802.11ac WiFi technology, Netgear WAC120-100NAS is also considered to be a good choice
for an access point as it is known to be delivering a high speed that is up to 1 GB per second
(Blunt, 2019).
3. Switches: Linksys LGS116P is considered to be one of the topmost choices for switches that
can be used in small business as it is having a 16- port switch for the networking. As
compared to the other switches that are having 16 networking ports, this devices is highly
compacted along with a regular metallic case. The total power budget of this devices is
around 65 Watts (Armstron, 2019).

4. Routers: The best router that can be chosen for the advertising office would be Asus BRT-
AC828 router as it is having a routing speed of 1734 Mbps at 802.11ac and also a speed of
800 Mbps at 802.11n (Atow, 2019).
Activity 5 Internet Service Provider
Following are some of the best network and security internal services that provides the specifics can
be used in the priority advertising of the website.
1. Outages.io: This is the internet monitoring tools that provides two choices to the user as it is
having both hardware as well as software solution for monitoring the network to which it
has been connected. The hardware type of this is connected to the desirable router that
allows it to monitor the network. The software part of this tools basically monitors the
remote websites that are tried to be accessed by the network to which it has been installed.
2. Node Ping: It is known to be one of the best internet monitoring tools as the time that it
takes to check the websites for any bug or dangerous content is very less and the speed of

Network Access Control (NAC) in one of the best techniques that can be used for providing security
to the network for the priority advertising office and prevent their network to be accessed by any
unwanted element.
Following are the feature of NAC that can be useful for the priority advertising department.
1. Access Policy: There are certain access policies that are been made in order to control the
users of a particular network and restrict the unwanted access to the network. These
policies are having strict regulation for allowing a user to access a network if they are not
already connected to the network.
2. Guest Access: There might be various instances when it is important for the client to access
the network to which NAC is applied. In this case the guest access characteristic of NAC is

used which allows a temporary access to the client when it is allowed by someone in the
network.
The use of private and personal IP addresses also plays a vital role in controlling the access of a user.
If both of them are properly used, most of the networks would themselves get secured from the
unwanted accesses. The private IP address is having a direct access over the internet so that anyone
can access to it. But in case of private IP address, only the user that is having the specific address can
accessed the network that has been created (Poremba, 2017).

Conclusion
This report explains the network planning of the company Priority Advertising where the company
wants to modify its networks and future planning is discussed. Several information regarding
network requirements are discussed. In order to protect the network, it is important to secure it and
for this, some network security techniques are suggested.

The subnetting for any IP address requires to identify the requirement of hosts in the network
group and also to select the IP block that needed to subnetting.

After that the total bits of Host Ip address is to be computed as:
