Project Scope:
After successfully analyzing the case scenario of the mentioned case study
of Calasanz School which has conveyed their interest towards involving the
wireless network in the institutional field. A rigorous investigation has
determined that in order to expand the possibilities and application of Digital
Learning the authorities of the mentioned institute has decided to implement
wireless as well as wired network services into their educational structure.
Considering the features of the approached system which has the fundamental
objective to enhance the e-learning capabilities of the student it has been
observed that the approached system must have enough capability to provide
effective solutions in order to distribute the facilities of internet among the
institution. A thorough examination on the case study has mentioned that the
institution needs to get such network system which will be highly cost effective
as well as efficient while considering the aim of the authorities of Calasanz
School. Along with that the authorities has also conveyed that the proposed
system must have the capabilities to differentiate between the accessibility
among the students and teachers as it is assumed that the student’s internet
accessibilities will be limited whereas the accessibilities for teachers as well as
for the other institutional members not be not as limited as the student’s.
Followed by these functionalities it has also mentioned that the proposed system
must be a cost effective system which will demand less human interaction as it
will help to reduce the overall maintenance cost of the approached system.
Challenges faced by the developer:
Followed by the objectives to incorporate an advance wireless network
which will have the features to effectively distribute the internet availability
among the institutional structure in order to influence the learning interest of the
students. However, effective analysis on the objectives and the proposed system
has effectively determined several challenges in order to develop the
approached system. Those challenges includes the aspects of identifying such
wireless as well as wired internet network which will be highly cost effective as
this systems needs to be incorporated for the educational purpose. There is a
significant reason behind this aspects as the school authorities has expressed
that they need less human power involved in this system as more involvement of
the power will cause higher expenses. Along with this there is also a significant
limitation present as the school authorities wants to incorporate a centralized

internet network into the Calasanz School architecture. Thus, in order to
establish the desired network to provide equal services an appropriate place
needs to be determined. The purpose to identify an accurate place for network
installation is to minimize the risk related to the wireless signals. Along with that
since, this wireless service will be distribute the network signal in a large area
thus, there is still a risk present related to the redundancy. As a network with
redundant capability will provide an effective support to the network even if one
device fails. Thus, developing a network with redundant capability is also a huge
challenge.
User-centric design concept:
Considering the objectives of the approached system it has been
determined to utilized the user centric framework as it will provide effective
solution in order to the enhance the work efficiency of the approached network.
The utilization of the user centric framework offers the facility to eliminate the
response time of the internet network, along with that this framework is one of
the simple network structure as it is separated in to several layers and each
layer hold its own responsibility. Apart from that there is a significant reason
behind the application of user centric framework is it offers effective modification
feature which has major impact on the future usage of the approached network.
