This case study discusses the design of a network setup for AusEd, including a logical diagram and hardware justification. It covers the purpose of the project, assumptions, and justifications for using the selected hardware. The project aims to provide a secure and scalable network for AusEd's 2000+ hosts, with a focus on maintaining the existing accounting system and improving customer relationship management. The proposed network includes routers, cables, switches, transceivers, servers, workstations, and security devices such as firewalls and virtual private networks. The logical diagram shows the integration of these devices across all AusEd branches, with a focus on scalability and flexibility. The hardware selection is based on compatibility and interoperability, with a focus on security and scalability. The project aims to help AusEd grow into a sustainable economy by providing new opportunities for business, health, and education.
