Summary of the article
The title of this paper is Wireless Network Virtualization: A Survey, Some
Research Issues and Challenges that was written by Chengchao Liang and
F. Richard Yu in the year 2014. The aim of this article is to examine the
concept of wireless network and discuss issues and challenges linked with
the wireless networks [1]. This paper focuses on the virtualization of the
wireless network and highlights a road map for better understanding of the
research topic. According to the authors, wireless network virtualization is
one of the best technology which enables sharing and abstraction of radio
spectrum and infrastructure. In this research paper, the authors evaluate
the wireless network virtualization and identify challenges and risks
associated with such kind of networking technology.
Critique
According to the authors, wireless networks virtualization is an effective
networking technology that can deliver better migration to new
technologies by isolation part of the computer networks. It is identified that
there are various kinds of issue occur in the wireless networks
virtualization, for example, control signalling, isolation, mobility
management, resource discovery and security [1]. In this research paper,
the authors analyzed a few aspects of the wireless network technology and
discussed the importance of security in the wireless networks. The
researchers argued that in the case of wired networks virtualization has
occurred for decades but in this modern era it is using in the wireless
networks [2]. After analyzing the paper it is observed that the authors
evaluated the viewpoints of other authors and highlighted the results and
findings of previous studies.
