Policy compliance:
GLPI is one of the leading software in the area which provides the best policy
compliance and the free for the users that is it is an open source tool. The policy compliance
of the network management can be explained as the process to reduce the complexity of the
any management task. The process consist of the policy’s that are used by the automated
systems (Safa, Von Solms & Furnell, 2016). The polices consists of the rules and the
regulation which governs the set of the network elements and the network conditions to
trigger the policy execution. Therefore the policy based network managing can be explained
as the pre-condition action based rejoinder tool which provides automatic responses to
altering network or operative conditions.
Bandwidth management
Bandwidth management can be explained as the process of measuring and the
controlling of the communications on a network line, for the avoidance of the network to go
the congestion mode with more number of the users than the network permits. The speed of
the bandwidth of the process of is measured in bits per second (Seno et al., 2017). If proper
bandwidth management is not done, it affects the speed of the network and the quality of the
connections, also the hackers use it for the purpose of damaging a network. One of the major
tool which is used for the bandwidth management is the packet sniffer. The tool intercepts the
data flowing in the network. When a machine is connected to a local network the toll
broadcasts the traffic to all the systems that is connected in the network. One of the major
drawback of this is that the broadcasting only occurs when the software commands the
Network interface card to stop ignoring the traffic.
