Introduction:
The password cracking is referred to several measures that are utilized for discovering the
passwords of the computers. Usually, it is accomplished by retrieving passwords from the data
that are stored or the data that are transported from one of the computer systems. The purpose of
this paper is to discuss about two password cracking tools, they are rainbow crack and john the
ripper. The passcode cracking can be done for various reasons however most of the reasons are
for gaining unauthorized access to a system without awareness of owner of the computer.
Download and install:
For the task two of the tools has been chosen from the table. One of the is rainbow crack
and the other one is john the ripper. For installing the tools, the OS platform that has been chosen
is Ubuntu.
