INTRODUCTION
The competition is getting increased in market as there are so many companies who tried to
establish their business in all over the world. By performing their operations in other countries,
they will be able to enhance their image but there are some global factors which can affect their
performance like social, cultural, economic and environmental (Browning, 2016). The present
report is based on Dormy house hotel which provide spa services to their clients. They are going
to start their business into another location like Latin America. In this context, it explains that
how spa can compete on global scale and its equipment & resources which are used in order to
design effective spa. Along with this, the report explains that how sustainable and contemporary
spa can be designed effectively.
TASKS
How spa can compete by including their design?
An appropriate spa design should be used by Dormy house hotel as through this they will be
able to create an effective atmosphere and environment for their clients. The emerging of spa
industry can change the minds of people towards beauty salon. It is a longer treatment which is
provided by the therapist and in this they use some products, creams and oils. Along with this,
some knowledge and experience is required within the therapist so that they can offer quality
standard services (Lupton and Phillips, 2015). By using an effective interior designs, an
emotional customer response can be evoked in an efficient way. The designing of such things is
not only related to beauty, structures and shapes as this is more than that. Here, the hotel
establishes its operations in Latin America as this is the emerging market for various beauty and
spa salons.
There are some factors which can affect the performance of hotel in other countries like
political, legal, social, economic, environmental, technological and so on. Political is related to
the stability, taxation, foreign trade and so on. If political stability is there in Latin America, then
due to this the business can perform its operations effectively. Social is focused on the needs,
wants, beliefs, culture of consumers and these should be used meet then only their satisfaction
can be achieved. Government made some rules and regulations which should be followed by an
