This article discusses the NewAccess program, an intervention for mental health issues in Australia. It explores the problems that the program aims to resolve, its capabilities, and benefits. The NewAccess program provides free, easy to access, and quality mental health services to people with anxiety and depression. It offers six free sessions, including one assessment session and five subsequent sessions with effective review. The program provides effective psychological therapies, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, to help individuals get rid of unwanted behavior and thoughts. The program also provides generalized anxiety disorder assessment, including a 7-item anxiety scale. The NewAccess program would help to induce improvement in the mental health service in Australia and bridge the gap in the currently available mental health care service.
