PROJECT 3 Legislation related to GDPR The General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy in the European Union and the European Economic Area. Kessler’s International a company working in Newham Council is been engaged in following the data protection act. They make sure that personal data of employees as well as consumers are not being violated. This has assisted them in increasing satisfaction level of consumers. It has also assisted them in retaining employees. It has established single law across continent and one set of rules that is applicable to the companies who are doing business inthe member stats of EU. It means legislations extends across borders of the Europe. There will be organizations of other regions but will be required to comply with the legislations. Legislationof GDPR are aimed at data protection for bringing benefits to the business. By having single authority to supervise the entire EU will be more simpler & cheaper for the business to operate in their regions. It is claimed by the commissions of GDPR. Importance of Data protection It has been analysed that it is very important for company to protect the data, so that they cannot be legally charged for the case of corruption. This will assist Kessler’s International in building up the trust of employees as well as consumers (Wachter, Mittelstadt and Russell, 2017). It will also support them in creating consumers loyalty. They will also be known as legally bended company. It is really necessary for firm to protect the data from getting hacked so that consumers and employees belongingness can be gained by firm. Legislation and importance related to health and safety The health and safety cat, 1974 has been implemented by UK government. In this they make sure that safe and secure environment is been provided to employees. It is really important for Kessler’s International to protect workers from hazardous working condition as; it will
support them in making the environment of firm better. It will also help them in reducing absenteeism and turnover. Importance of promoting legislation and regulatory practice It is really important for Kessler’s International to address all legislations as this will assist them in creating their goodwill as well as reputation. They will be able to attract more potential employees while addressing all laws and regulations (Tobin and et.al., 2017). The business practicing the legislations and complying with all the regulation is considered as more reliable and trusted by the customers and clients.
