Introduction
 The National health service is one of the leading publicly funded healthcare centre in UK
situated in England.
 In the world it is the second largest single payer healthcare system situated for the betterment
of people.
 The healthcare system of this organization provides healthcare services for all the UK people
and offers support on the basis of their need for medical care.
 The presentation will be based on various factors leading to the introduction of the NHS and it
will also provide detailed information about impact on the providers and service users due to
the changes related to structure and funding.

Social factors leading to the introduction of the NHS
 As we all know that it is one of the most famous healthcare centre in the world that
provides completely free healthcare was made available for the betterment of patients.

Political factors leading to the introduction of the NHS
 Political factors are one of the major factors which can impact any organization because a
small change in policies made by government can influence people decision.

Ideological factors leading to the introduction of the NHS
 AS we all know that the major purpose behind an ideological factors study is to provide
either change in society or adherence to a set of ideals where with the support of normative
thought process conformity is maintained.
 With regard to NHS, disputes and conflict arises between the medical professions and the
rules made by government have become formalized battles with well recognized polices
and regulations.
 Before implementing any decisions, NHS is focusing on major ideologies such as
socialism, democracy liberalism and conservatism.

Significant changes to funding and structure of the NHS
 As we all know that due to pandemic and Brexit, pressure on social care and general practices
done related to it can also lead to more demand for hospital services.
 In the recent years waiting times for GP appointments have increased and also around 1.4
million people have not satisfied their social care needs.
 This rising demand for healthcare services has put pressure on NHS to manage funds effectively.
 The government of the UK has announced that funding for the healthcare system will be
increased by £20.5 billion or around 3.4% per year for the next 5 years.
 On the other side, NHS have established effective plans for changes to the structure related to
this healthcare systems and provide with legislation

 As we all know that medical professionalism is very challenging and nowadays due to
changing policies and systems addressed above has created pressure on providers like doctors,
nurses and developing hospitals.
 This professionalism is changing with the increasing gap between what doctors have
traditionally been trained about healthcare and the realities of modern practice related to
healthcare services.
 Due to changing trends in social, political and technological factors, providers have to change
their way of providing services and it has changes the way healthcare professionals interact
with patients.
 In situation like Covid-19 morale among doctors is declining, and they are leaving the
profession.

Conclusion
 In the world NHS is the second largest single payer healthcare system situated for the
betterment of people and working hard to support patients who is in need.
 To conclude, there are many factors such as social, political, technological, cultural and
ideological which can impact the performance of organisation.
 The presentation has concluded that due to significant changes in the government policies
and rules made on healthcare systems has impacted services users and providers both.
