Nike Inc. is multinational organization of American origin that mainly operates in the
designing, developing, manufacture and overall marketing of apparel, footwear, accessories,
services. The headquarter of the Nike is located in Beaverton, Oregon in Portland based
metropolitan area. Nike has gained the position of largest supplier of the athletic apparel and
shoes. The leadership position that is developed by Nike in the sports in the industry is based
on high levels of revenues that have been gained by the organization (Nike.com 2019).
1.2 Aim
The aim of the report is to analyse the ethical failures that are faced by Nike in the
sports industry based on its operations in the sports industry. The effects of the ethical
failures on the revenues and the reputation of Nike will be analysed in the report in detail.
1.3 Scope
The major issues that will be addressed by the report are based on the changes that
have occurred in Nike due to different ethical issues faced by the company.
1.4 Methodology
