Description
Compassion: I
n the healthcare profession, it is essential to have
compassion in order to provide positive experience to the
patients. When a nurse is compassionate towards the
patients then a kind as well as considerate treatment is
found. Also, a compassionate nurse may receive an
inspiring sense of human connection as well as assurance
of the importance of their work (Durkin, Gurbutt &
Carson, 2018).
Commitment:
Nursing is a challenging profession and nursing staffs
should continually dedicate themselves to put their act of
commitment while providing care. In addition,
commitment to the career also helps in improving the
skills and knowledge of nurses. The commitment towards
furthering the education improves capabilities and care
experience of the patients.
Confidence:
As recommended by Roach, nurses should be confident
while delivering care and their personal skill and
knowledge should reflect on their work.

NMBA Code of Conducts
