The purpose of the study is to evaluate about the winners of the Nobel Prize. The key
reason behind the study conducted is to know about the basic characteristic of the Nobel Prize.
The observational methodology has been used in order to conduct the research study. This
methodology is based on the observations created against the study is conducted by the scholar.
This is identified that only 6% are the Nobel Prize winners are female. Medicine hold the most
number of Nobel Prize winners. United States of America hold the maximum number of prizes.
This is recommended that more prizes must be allocated to other areas where only few of the
Nobel Prizes have been awarded.

Business problem
The primary purpose of the study is to understand the various aspects related to the Nobel
Prize. The aim of the entire study conducted is to know about the basic nature of the Nobel Prize
winners (Cantarelli, Bellé and Belardinelli, 2020). The purpose of the study is also to understand
the various streams that hold the Nobel Prizes. Study also aim to understand the maximum
preferred area when it comes to awarding. Business language is professional and sufficient to
understand about the basic characteristics of the study.
Statistical problem
The analysis is done with the use of secondary method of data collection. The analysis is
further done with the use of bar graph, pie chart and such like tools. Excel is used to present
information in order to analysis the whole information and records. Problem is entertained when
the information and data is analyses properly. The issue is related to the practices adopted to
evaluate the whole information order to achieve the overall research objectives.

Interpretation: From the above, it has been interpreted that there are 876 males and 58 females.
Also, from 100%, only 6% of them are females who won the Nobel Prize. The above stated pie
chart clearly demonstrate the fact that 91% of the total prizes are allocated to the male. Whereas
only 6% have been allocated to the female. The difference between the prize winners based on
gender is huge.

The above reflected bar chart demonstrate the fact that in medicine the maximum number
of prizes have been allocated. The total prizes in medicine is 222, chemistry 186, physics 216,
literature 117, peace 135 and economics 86. The most prizes have been allocated in medicine
where as the least number of prizes are allocated in economics.
