This presentation discusses the impact of solid nuclear or radioactive wastes from nuclear energy on human health. It highlights the disadvantages of generating nuclear energy and the harmful effects of nuclear waste on human health. The research hypothesis is that there is an impact effect of solid nuclear or radioactive wastes from nuclear energy on human health. The findings show that there are several human health adversities that occur due to nuclear waste management, including diseases of the nervous system, gastrointestinal diseases, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and lung, skin, breast, and stomach cancer. The research concludes that the management of the nuclear energy sector needs to take initiative for safety measures for the workers, including medical treatment provision, compensation to the victim’s family, and safe measures for nuclear waste disposals.
