NURSING2 Introduction Nursing profession is important for a leader who is visionary and has the mission in a clinical setting. The vision and mission that the nurse has will assist much in achieving his goals. There are different values that a nurse is supposed to possess. All this is aimed at providing the best care for the patients and hence capture their satisfaction. The value of nursing as a profession There are core values that any competent nurse possesses. The core values include; Caring and empathy A caregiver is supposed to maintain the intrinsic worth of sympathy and also show concern in healthcare. Being a caregiver is one of the most gratifying and enjoyable career paths that learners pursue whereby each specialized hour is devoted to assisting those who are around (Flinkman & Salanterä, 2015). Anurse should understand the feelings of a patient, be sensitive to them, and show willingness to help. Empathy lays its foundation on respect for the patients' dignity and the acknowledgment of the self-actualization for the client. As a nurse, I should know the patient and have a curiosity in their comfort, audacity, and self-effacement(Chachula, Myrick, & Yonge, 2015). I also believe and appreciate the fact that I do not know everything that concerns the patient and that I should earn the patients' confidence to assist them to be patient and have a sense of continued possibility for growth. I believe that the nursing profession involves planning and offering care that is culturally appropriate and sensitive.
NURSING3 Communication As a nurse, I strongly believe in communication. Communication is vital to the nursing profession. It helps in receiving the necessary information about a client's believes that nurses are supposed to show competence in both oral and written communication(Jiménez-López, Roales- Nieto, & Seco, 2016). Critical Thinking I believe that as a nurse, I should be involved in making accurate and vital clinical decisions. I can make a decision when a patient comes with a problem which is not clear. I can explore different perspectives and possibilities so as assist patients(Fisher, 2015). Critical thinking involves actively organized and cognitive procedure and which is designed to give room for the nurse to explore challenges. I can take risks based on the knowledge that the patient provides(Rutherford, 2014). Psychomotor Skills I believe that ‘laying on of hands' is fundamental in the provision of coziness and the utilization of precise skills to accomplish assessing a patient and also evaluate nursing care. I believe that I can utilize my nursing skills in a way that will provide relief and enhances the capability of using nursing skills positively(Baillie & Black, 2014). 3aAs a nurse, I trust in working in the expertise and in offering the best considerate care with the highest level of standards possible. I also believe in providing care to make patients feel comfortable. I also believe in personal proficiency and professional reflections due to the existing nursing codes of ethics and education(Parandeh, Khaghanizade, Mohammadi, & Nouri, 2015).
NURSING4 3b Values Solid educationis crucial to my patients and their families and acting as a promoter to their choices and options and also supporting the decisions that they make(Baillie & Black, 2014).I trust in offering assistanceto my colleagues in treating everybody with respect and comprehension. Nursesare self-sacrificingand give their knowledge and skills to their patients and encourage everyone to join their scrape in assisting the sick people. 3cI would be proudto bring to my profession the principles of human dignity, integrity, and justicethat will serve as a framework for the nursing standards. I willobligate to the nursing ethics and duties on every patient who seeks my help in the profession. I believe in contributing to the nonnegotiable ethical standards in the nursing profession, and thus I will assist with my succinct statement in ethics and duties to every patient. 4AI aspire to achieve confidence and trust to the patients that I will serve and to be their priority in case they need healthcare services for themselves or their families. I will strive to earn their trust based on the clinical quality of services, service excellence, and integrity to the nursing program. I also aspire to provide superior clinical quality service in a pleasant environment. I will build a long-lasting relationship with my clients(Hawley, Young, & Pasco, 2016). My values in the programwould include; caring for the patients in addition to meeting their needs and that of physicians and coworkers. 4BIntegrity would also be an essential factor whereby I will be communicating openly and honestly to build trust and conduct myself in line with the highest expected code of ethics. The vision will also give me the reason why I should work hard and believe that without any conviction, my dream will come true(Jiménez-López, Roales- Nieto, & Seco, 2016). Conclusion Nursing is an interactive process that requires nurses to be visionary and be empowered to accomplish specific tasks. Acquisition of clinical skills is vital since it assists the nurses in achieving their goals in due time. The nurses require these skills to provide adequate nursing care. Nurses should uphold values, mission, and vision for themselves so that they can earn trust from patients and the entire community.
