NMC code is relates with section on record keeping, honesty and integrity to develop
professional behaviour. In this aspect, health care determines their operations for growth of
individual and provide them effective services (Swift, 2015). For gaining insight knowledge,

REFLECTIVE ESSAY
Gibbs reflective cycle
Reflective cycle includes learning of mine by doing and includes teaching or learning
methods. It is useful to make my experience and activity in the positive context. In respect to
implement it in NMC, following elements need to be included:
Description: In this step, I describe situation in detail. Therefore, simply I know about
happening which can be describe in the main aspect. For example, incident of a person such as
caring for patient through making care plans. In addition to this, other people work also need to
be monitor in significant manner (Van Onselen, Thornberry and Soji-Adeyemo, 2015). In order
to linkage with NMC code, there are record need to be kept effectively for each patient and care
users which I have taken. Within the health care, I have taken their responsibility as nurses and
midwives with accurate records that are relevant to practices. It covers code of the professional
standards and behaviour for them (Moorley and Watson, 2015). There is no specific documents
includes in keeping records so that I have includes code for this assessment. In this code,
presents the professional standards that uphold to register practices in UK. It could be reflect to
the world in which we live. In order to change roles and expectations, structured work around the
different themes such as practices effectively, preserve safety and prioritise people. It assists to
build professionalism of me and trust also develop with many people such as nursing, midwifery,
etc. Failure to comply with code also bring fitness to practise (The Code for nurses and
midwives, 2017).
Record keeping in the NMC also highlighted to make good and effective results of mine
through integrate practice and provision of safe and effective care. It acknowledges good record
keeping that has range of important operations such as:

Assessment of risk of patients (Cummings, Clarke and Jones, 2015).
Develop critical judgement for decision making
In the present incident, my work done with honesty and integrated professional behaviour
which describe work in a group. Therefore, it demonstrates good working with many people and
help to each other. However, I can communicate with several people in term of collusion so that
mistake can be reduce through coding with NMC registration. It can be reflect to my work and
conclusions drawn from together meeting.
As a nurse, sometimes I also asked withhold truth from patient. It referred as the
collusion which easily create scenario of secrecy and mistrust. It could be request to make
relation to disclose life limiting illness such as cancer, imminent death made by family member
or patient themselves. In this way, I have to prefer to told truth about happening in it and also
realise to know about their preference as well.
Feelings: With the help of encouraging, I can make my experience to develop in this step
which commenting to the emotions of different people for whom I take meeting. Therefore,
situation need to be take place for particular issue. Thinking of other people in NMC also need to
cater in situation to assess their feeling. Profession of the nursing and midwifery is secondary
professional care support within the healthcare industry. It acts as the most important layer of
services to public health in the term of intensive, antenatal, neonatal and more aspects (Cheesley,
2014). Nurses and Midwives of NMC more efficient in all over the world to deal with
multifaceted healthcare roles. With this regard, as a nurse I play a role as direct patient care,
education, policy, management, research, etc. It helps in address advance challenges that impact
widely to public health. To increase demand, nurses made competitive model and working
honestly on it. It is the obligatory requirements for practitioners to register with national
regulatory body (Taylor, Byrom and Gregory, 2016).
Nurses are playing major role to support medical with aiding professional doctors such as
physicians, surgeons and visiting to consultant. In every work setting, there are so many settings
includes such as primary care, secondary care, care home, welfare, education research, etc. It is
the reason in which job role of health care facility over the broad range of services includes for
better treatment to getting practices. It includes feedback from patients that reflect on practice
and strive to further improvement (Van Onselen, Thornberry and Soji-Adeyemo, 2015). Nurses
also demonstrate trend of services which can be delivery towards satisfaction of public.

When I understand feeling of other person, it creates positive impact to my performances
to encourage people. In NMC, sharing ideas and work helps to make effective results through
positive intention.
In the useful framework for nurses requires avoid potentially dressing that disclose about
the illness and happen at the moment as well. It is equally important for the dilemmas in care of
practice to tell about truth from the patient. I saw that most of the patient diagnosed with life
threatening illness so that situation enable to plan their remaining time with family. Therefore, I
took information from family members regarding improvements with using methodology.
Cultural practices of collusion can be changed with simple strategy that is based on the universal
principle.
Evaluation: Next, evaluation stage assist to encourage me with looking objectively to
approaches that make positive result in my learning. In addition to this, it includes well things
that need to be done in positive aspect (Cummings, Clarke and Jones, 2015). At workplace,
actions affect not only to person but also around many people in which we are exists. In the
professional behaviour, each person need to tell truth to make trust and undermine integrity.
Successful operations of NMC depends on the trust of several people who exists in healthcare
such as care taker, patients, etc. There are six ethical terms form the foundation of trust in which
business practices can be build like ethics, values, morals, integrity, etc. Professional behaviour
of a person need to integrate standards that found in professional codes including attorney and
physicians maintaining of client confidentiality, account not need to use personal information
(Cummings, Clarke and Jones, 2015). Values are another important part which defined acts,
customs, etc. for group of people in favourable way. Statement includes approval, disapproval,
obligations, etc. Each person participation is very important to make evaluation in process. When
I evaluate other people with my own performances, in NMC positive results. It can be prior
through setting several activities. It gives effective results through project proposal and core
responsibilities. In this way, I will easily help to each other.
Conclusions: When situation evaluated, I can help to whole team to draw the conclusion.
Encouragement also required me to took situation with using information. Therefore, positive
experience can be made for a person to involve effective results. From the above cycle, it can be
concluded that working in group is very effective which assists to make positive results in

significant manner. Therefore, it requires to me to learn about reflection of the incident with the
given instruction.
Action: Actions are also taken for some possible results that help to me to deal with
situation more effectively in the future. It is the last stage which assists to in NMC to work with
commitment and take actions by me (Van Onselen, Thornberry and Soji-Adeyemo, 2015).
Ethical standards should be required for my professional. Therefore, integrity is the key element
for profession that considered in appropriate manner as ethical behaviour. In the professional of
NMC, relationship, integrity is included with trait. No physicians need to hire integrity so that
codes appreciate working with co-workers who exhibit it (Integrity, Ethics and Professionalism,
2017). Various people are effectively participate in NMC code to take action from the possible
results. With the help of different aspects and roles, each person will help to other people so that
work completely done in systematic manner within the group. I can also pursue different actions
for working in a group that accomplish objectives.
In order to begin with problem of collusion, palliative care services created a flow of
chart detailing the stream of information from the time that diagnosis of a terminal life
threatening illness. It is confirmed to the time for patient to create fully aware. In this way,
collusion problem need to be solve because it huge problem among terminally ill. With creating
awareness that collusion was indeed wide issue and problem to take care for more patients.
CONCLUSION
From the above essay, it can be concluded that NMC work very effective with record
keeping, honesty integrity and professional behaviour. In this way, it summarized about
reflective assessment in term of Gibbs style. It helps to identify situation in which I have to deal
in significant manner.
