INTRODUCTION
Clinical workplace practices refer to providing healthy and safe environment to patients. In
clinical workplace good facilities is provided to patients so that they can recover soon (Strand,
2017). The report examines, reflection about clinical workplace practices to evaluate and develop
strategies for future development. It includes, clinical practices around acute care which is being
observed in workplace, thoughts and observations, how this reflect person centred care. Further,
Gibbs model is discussed and team practices. Some strategies to improve patient/client/service
user care.
MAIN BODY
Reflection on clinical workplace practices
Clinical workplace practices to both physical and mental illness means to provide good
facilities and safe environment to patients and proper care must be given to them. It is the
responsibility of staff members to take care of patients and give them equal treatment so that they
can get well soon. In Hospitals patients should get good environment and proper training is
provided to staff members for how they have to treat patients.
Gibbs model of reflection
Gibbs reflection model includes six stages i.e., description, feeling, evaluation, analysis,
conclusion and action plan.
Description- This is the first stage of Gibbs reflective model which to describe situation. In
clinical workplace I observe that staff members were treating all patients with respect and taking
care of every patient. They are reporting details of every patient to doctor on time so that they
can recover soon. I also notice that safe and healthy environment is provided to patients and all
the necessary facility is given to them (Sekarwinahyu and et.al., 2019). Good clinical practices is
provided to patient whose surgery has been done. It is our responsibility to give proper care to
that patient. Safe and healthy environment was provided to unwell patient because surgery is
being done and patient need proper care. Family members of patients were also given respect
and staff members tell them about their medicine structure properly. As proper treatment and
care is provided to patients, they also feel good and it creates positive image.
Feeling- My experience was good as I notice that proper rules and regulations are followed at
clinical workplace. According to my opinion, other people who were present there feeling good
because environment of workplace was safe, healthy and clean. Staff members are interacting
