INTRODUCTION
A pressure injury is considered as situation when force is applied on the specific surface
of the skin. The respective force may be determined as constant pressure on particular skin area
or their will be dragging forces among the skin as well as another surface (Mercer and Walker,
2006). The respective type of injuries are generally happen on the bony parts of body such as
heels, tailbone, head, ankles, elbows and so on. It can be recover by adopting several methods
such as message therapy, air bed, standard mattresses and many more. The aim of developing
this report is to conduct analysis based on the potential clinical problems related to massage
therapy as well as it also include clinical question based on the PICOT framework.

Potential clinical problems
As per the perspective of Qinhong Zhang, Zhongren Sun and Jinhuan Yue, 2020,
pressure injuries is also known as pressure ulcers and pressure sores which is generally caused
by having constant pressure or friction. It will generally impact on the movement of a person as
they not able to move or feel pain while moving the body parts by themselves (Massage therapy
for preventing pressure ulcers. 2020). This will generally take place at the bony parts of the body
such as heels, hips, head, buttocks and many more. Prolonged pressure at these areas of body
leads to the poor or improper circulation of the blood, leads to cell death, skin breakdown,
development of open wound. The respective types of injuries generally take long time for
healing as well as it is also essential for a person to take care that specific injuries will not
increase. In this case message therapy is effective for the treatment because that help in relaxing
the muscles and curing it from the pressure injuries. Message therapy is determine as treatment
practice in which a parts of body are being manipulated and move as well as provide pressure on
it properly so that person feel relax. In respective therapy the blood volume in the area infected
due to pressure injuries get increase as well as it will also improve the tissue suppleness (Jeong
and et.al. 2006). It also reduce the swelling which occur due to the accumulation of oedema or
fluid as well as it also boost the immune system of a person. In addition to this, according to
some studies it is determined as message may also help in preventing the development of a
