INTRODUCTION
Nursing care management, plays strong role in improvising patient overall care
conditions and developing functional improvement in patient health conditions diversely. The
report will discuss patient nursing care management, analyzing patient condition and nursing
process specifically along with application of nursing process. Holistic considerations and
application of nursing process for proposing patient care plan enables to improvise better priority
nursing treatment delivery will be analyzed. Bryan, 24 old students has health issues where he
has lost 10 kg of body weight and experiencing night sweats and lethargy. Study will identify
specific nursing care based on holistic care aspects, by framing further extended priorities for
patient overall care goals for extended improvement within longer time frame. The research in
recent report, will generate specific care management to be implemented based on wider scale
goals for extended parameters.
Knowledge and discussion of patient condition
Bryan has lost about 10 % of body weight and experiences night sweats and lethargic
lifestyle where he faces extreme weakness. Doctor while examining his health, it was found that
person has lymph nodes around his neck where further tests and biopsy was admitted to medical
ward. Bryan has been taking part in gardening activities, and often takes grandmother. Patient
was confirmed with lymphadenopathy of his suprarclavicular and cervical lymph nodes, where
Bryan has undergone four cycles of chemotherapy. Bryan has PICC line inserted into left arm for
chemotherapy and has an opposite dressing over his biopsy site which is intact. The patient has
been experiencing extreme weight loss, night sweats and extreme fatigue which signifies that
patient needs specific nursing intervention (Bisho and et.al, 2022).
In Hodgkins Lymphoma, the lymphatic system is compromised, resulting in proliferation
of invasive abnormal and cancer cells are formed.
It can be analyzed that Bryan has been experiencing extreme weight loss, appetite loss and
energy decline due to lymph nodes and lymphoma. Patient needs specific care, extensive

nursing supervision and medical assistance for improved health vision based on specific
functional improvement from Lymphoma. It can be also analyzed that patient condition, has to
be prioritized based on specific care goals and extensive scope for extensive improved nursing
interventions (Xu and et.al , 2022).
 Pathophysiology: The Hodgkin Lymphoma results from colon transformation of cells of
B-cell origin giving rise to pathohgnomic binucleated Reed Sternberg Cells. The
pathophysiology of patient enables to understand that Bryan due to lymphadenopathy of
suprarclavicular and cervical lymph nodes, is experiencing fatigue and lethargically weak
physical body (Teras, and et.al, 2022).
 Clinical manifestations: The Hodgkin's lymphoma clinical manifestations include painful
swelling of lymph nodes, fever, night sweats and losing of weight excessively based on
severe pain within body.
 Treatment options: External beam radiation therapy and four cycles of chemotherapy are
some of the treatments where Bryan will be able to get over Lymphoma.
He has lost about 10 % of body weight and is experiencing extreme weakness which has
lowered physical body activeness diversely. Chemotherapy is use of drugs for destroying cancer
cells from growing, dividing and making new cells. Providing factual information, detailed
medical assistance and promoting trust in caregivers is essential as this enables treatment to be
given properly. Patient conditions assessment is widely essential, based on operative
improvement for larger retained improvement.
It can be also analyzed that encouraging and accepting expressions of concern, anger and grief

increased among stages of diseases. Bryan has to further be given best medical treatments for
improved therapies, where it specifically will enable person to improve health levels (Warchoł-
Biedermann,, and et.al 2022)

The lymphatic system is compromised, thereby resulting to proliferation of invasive abnormal,
cancer cells where the lymphatic system is composed of network of lymph nodes where it
hinders fluid around the lymphatic system. This can be also analyzed as one of the most essential
specific aspect, where lymphoma needs specific nursing interventions and medical supervision
based on optimum care standards. Weakened immune system, under patients are considered to
be specific risk factor for developing Lymphoma disease competently. The nursing process
should be implemented to further diagnose changes, and interventions to be implemented widely.

Nursing process
The nursing process of lymphoma will be developed by physical examination, to assess presence

rapid improvement. Bryan had a PICC line inserted into his left arm for his chemotherapy and

within healthcare. Patient has been suffering from Lymphoma, and is experiencing excessive
weakness within body and needs care within changed lifestyle habits (Khurana, & Lin, 2022).
Nursing care plan: Risk for ineffective breathing pattern secondary to HL
The nurses will be performing relaxation techniques, give prescribed medications (Ensuring
accuracy of dose and frequency and monitoring of adverse effects). Scheduled activities to avoid
fatigue and providing rest periods to patient will be done in nursing plan for getting over
ineffective breathing pattern secondary to HL. The breathing training and control exercises such
as diaphragmatic breathing and body position exercises along with respiratory muscle training
will be performed.

Nursing care plan 2: Activity intolerance related to persist fatigue as evidenced by
verbalization of unrelieved fatigue, overwhelming lack of energy, generalized weaknesses and
shortness of breath upon exertion.
The nurses will be emphasizing on importance of frequent rest periods, where balance between
period of activity with periods of rest aids in patient complete preferred activities. Nurses will be
strengthening focus on nursing plan with more rest or pauses, with adherence towards increasing
tolerance for activity and increasing activity with active range of motion exercises in bed. For
overwhelming lack of energy, generalized weaknesses and shortness of breath patient should be
given proper diet and food. The nurses will be giving healthy nutritious food, as per doctor
supervision for patient wellness. Generalized weaknesses of breath upon exertion will be
monitored, with continuous specific control on monitored body movements and extended
productive abilities.
Nursing care plan 3: Risk for infection secondary to chemotherapy
The risks for infection secondary to chemotherapy, will be monitored by washing hands
frequently and keeping best sanitation practices among doctors and nurses. Patient treatment will
be given while chemotherapy by practicing impeccable personal hygiene practices.
Nursing care plan 4: Imbalanced nutrition related to decreased food intake secondary to
ongoing chemotherapy
The nursing plan for improving nutrition, will be focusing on giving patient timely
nutrition within meals and also attending patient health condition as per specific body
requirements. Eating lots of fruits and vegetables, whole grain bread and lean meats along with
low fat milk products will be prescribed to patient for improved recovery from chemotherapy.
Nursing care plan 5: Anticipatory grieving
The nursing plan for anticipatory grieving, will be based on taking patient therapies, for
improvising patient health recovery from chemotherapy. Allowing family meet ups in regular
intervals, will enable anticipatory grieve to become less and allow patient to be healed.
Nursing care plan 6: Pain

regarding religious practices, have showed less psychological distress (Wham, & Hallam, 2022)..
As Roman catholic, Bryan ethical values shall be respected which enables better treatments to be

evolved on for strengthening medical assistance and treatment of lymphoma to be executed. It
can be also analyzed that nurses should adhere towards medical supervision based on holistic
considerations, for extended competent medical services improvement. The patient’s spiritual,
psychological and cultural, emotional needs support is essential for gaining potential treatments
done functionally. Bryan has to be also given personal space, by able to meet grandmother as it
will enable chemotherapy treatment to be progressed on functionally. Maintaining holistic
considerations, is essentially crucial for improved healthcare aspects based on rapid getting
patients support on larger arena.

The research in recent study has concluded that proposing nursing care, is essentially crucial for
improvised medical surge among critical patients. Stuyd has summarized essential importance about
