Three nursing regulations for licensing of nursing informatics technology
Technology plays a pivotal part in developing the nursing care management and nursing
education. The nursing informatics and technology would be helpful for the nursing care
staffs. Licensing, recognition, and registration are the ethical criteria for nursing informatics
and technology. In the United States, the APRN model is developed to focus on the role of
licensing and registering of post-grad nursing practices (Cummins et al., 2016). The
licensure depends on the granting of authority to practice, Accreditation and formal review
from the approved by any recognized certification programs and The Certification on
postgraduates based on knowledge, skills, and experiences. These three are three key industry
regulations that control the licensing and registration criterion for the nursing informatics and
technology practitioners. This suggests the required educational details and ethical
procedures continue this study.
The licensure depends on the granting of authority to practice: This regulation states that
the individual should have the sufficient skill to practice nursing informatics. Moreover, the
person should have a valid nursing graduate degree to conduct a specialized study on this-
this. Moreover, the person should have a clear understanding of nursing ethics and principals.
The person must have knowledge of care, compassion, commitment, competence,
communication, and courage for effective nursing practice (Darvish, Bahramnezhad,
Keyhanian & Navidhamidi, 2014).
Accreditation and formal review from the approved by any recognized certification
programs: This regulation states that for valid certification and license, must have a clear
knowledge of the basic nursing ethics. He must pass nursing graduate from any nursing
college of the United States that is affiliated by the United States n Medical Council. A
limited registration would be provided to those whom qualification to pass nursing training
from any nursing college accredited by United States (Mcbridge & Tietze, 2016).
The Certification on postgraduates based on knowledge, skills, and experiences: This
program insists on further nursing level program functioning for the post-grad students and
must be documented based on the ethical practices of the American Nurses Association
(ncsbn, 2008).
