Introduction
Nursing Codes and Conducts are integral part of clinical practice and healthcare
provision. This assignment is focused on the relevance of nursing codes and conducts by
interconnecting the application of the codes with case studies.
Discussion
The nursing ethics provide a framework to help nurses and medical representatives
include the patients and family members with the ethical decisions. The approach of
bioethical decision making can clarify the right and wrong of clinical practices (Ballard et
al. ,2016). The decision making model is involved in the ethical, technical and moral role of
clinical practice and service provision.
The assignment is focused on the connection between real and theoretical world in
the world of nursing and clinical practises. As per the discussed case study, the nurse has
better identification of the patient’s problem and checking the past records. Therefore, it can
be said that the nurse maintain the provision 4 of the Code of Ethics for Nurses (Burke,
Richardson & Smith, 2017). The nurses should be responsible, respectful and polite to the
patients and the behavioural conduct is regulated by the provision 1. Application of the ethics
and principles should be maintained by the nurses as per the provision 8. If a child is admitted
to the hospital, the nurse should inform the parents about the health condition. Provision 5 is
associated with the legal and collective effort of the clinical practice and they need to connect
the health and safety related regulation with the references of the different nursing
interventions.
The registered nurses should maintain the legal codes associated with nursing and
these codes play a significant role in the career of a registered nurse (Handy & Russell,
