Stress is common psychological distress experienced by nursing students. Stress defined
by emotional or physical tension experienced by individuals in response to certain events which
reflected through frustration, nervousness. As discuss by Admi et al. (2016), stress alters the
neural dynamics and precipitate disorders that shapes personality. The prime reason behind
stress among nurses is the issue experienced during team working such as poor communication,
conflict, and tension (Smith & Yang , 2017). The nurses tend to experience stress due to a
shortage of workforce and they require to provide care to the patients according to the high
demand of patients and employers. While stress affects the physical well-being of individuals, it
affects the personality of individuals. The stressed nurse often feel agitated, frustrated, anxious
which reflected through overreact, anger and violence (Smith & Yang, 2017). The nurses often
experience lack of motivations, low mood social withdrawal and restlessness because of stress.
Consequently, these behaviors affected the practice of nurses while dealing with patients. The
nurses tend to avoid effective communication, empathetic gestures which resulted in low
patient’s satisfaction. As discussed by Sauer, Hannon and Beyer (2017), a significant number of
nurses experience a lack of focus and job burnout which contributed to the development of
unhealthy habits such as frequent alcohol and tobacco use. Hence, in order to improve the
wellbeing of individuals and professional practice of serving patients, nurses are required to
involve themselves in the activities that reduce the stress they are experienced in their daily life.
While researchers suggested an array of activities to reduce stress, there are few
activities that most suitable for nurses to incorporate in daily life in order to reduce stress.
Labrague et al. (2018), highlighted a few such activities such as physical activities for 30
