INTRODUCTION
Healthcare is moral and collective behaviour which is associated by various laws and
legislation in order to support individual in direct or indirect manner. Ethical practices in
healthcare is providing broader sense to people in which appropriate treatment can be given to
them and trust can be created within people (Aly and et. al., 2020). The aim of this assessment is
to recognise legal requirements and moral and ethical needs in order perform everyday care. The
major emphasis of this report is to render higher support in relation to make decisions and to
provide moral justification.
CASE STUDY TWO
Tara is a 15 year old girl and she is having fear of getting pregnant as she gets pregnant
due to unprotected sex with her boyfriend. She has consulted with an health professional in order
to seek advice and to understand repercussion of morning after pills. In this manner health
professional is associated with providing her such guidance by which she doesn't get any
negative health implications along with maintaining confidentiality of conversation between
health professional and Tara.
As already told by Tara to health professional to keep this conversation very confidential
as she realised that she had done some wrong deeds and would not be acceptable by her parents.
So in this manner health professional is required to follow code of conduct of her medical
implications so that not to reveal private information and conversation of their clients. As Tara is
scared so this is moral responsibility of health professional to provide her support and negative
impacts on her health when she takes morning after pills (Arifin and Yustitianingtyas, 2020). As
stated by Tara she analysed that her numerous friends has taken these pills but no negative
implications are seen by them. So in this manner health professional is required to give her
appropriate advice so that she do not put any step ahead which is wrong and unethical.
In the context of legal proceedings involving in sexual activities before the age of 16 is
illegal for both girls and boys so in this manner Tara is facing legal issues as she has not
completed her age of 16. Besides this it would be unethical for health professional if they supply
pills to her as these pills may give huge negative impacts to Tara which are not profitable for her
in long run.
