Introduction
Nursing practice can be characterized as variety of duties as well as tasks that are trained
and performed by nurses along with the general practitioners. This essay is going to discuss Mr
Baqri’s particular type of heart failure, the aetiology behind it, as well as Mr. Baqri's overall
health conditions that have been newly diagnosed. This essay will also discuss Mr Baqri’s
education needs in relation to his overall health conditions at the time of first admission, such as
the specific changes that are required to be made by Mr Baqri. Lastly, likely progression of Mr
Baqri's health conditions will be provided considering different treatment options that are
available to improve overall well-being.
Main Body
Considering the case of Mr Baqri, it can be stated that he has diastolic heart failure.
Diastolic heart failure is linked to poor cardiovascular efficiency, which results in the left
ventricle developing heavy walls and a narrow gap leading to enlarged left ventricular volume or
density ratio (Jamieson, Whyte and McCall, 2019). The reduced cardiac function is expressed as
exhaustion, although this higher diastolic strain is transferred backward only to peritubular
circulation through the rotary valve portal vein, contributing to exertional dysuria (Fortuna and
et. al., 2019). Mr Baqri’s health issues, such as hypertension, ischemia, fluctuations among heart
rate and atrial fibrillation can be highlighted as contributing to his development of diastolic heart
failure (Wilpers and et. al., 2020).
Hypertension is considered to be the primary cause of diastolic heart failure (Felipe and et.
al., 2019) and can also be considered to be the primary cause of Mr. Baqri’s diastolic
dysfunction. Hypertension contributes to left endothelial dysfunction (Francis and Tang, 2019).
Hypertension leads to expansion of collagen material which reduces cardiovascular compliance
(Voors and et. al., 2019). The hypertrophied mitral valve does have a heavier diastolic pressure-
volume correlation; thus a tiny change also in left ventricular end-diastolic pressure induces a
marked increase throughout the left ventricular end-diastolic tension (Ge and et. al., 2019).
Pulse rate determines the time that is accessible for diastolic filling, coronary perfusion, and
ventricular unwinding (Kataoka, 2019) (Duque, Briasoulis and Alvarez, 2019). Tachycardia
influences diastolic capacity by diminishing and coronary perfusion times and causes deficient
unwinding secondary to a firm heart which can't build its speed. Given that Mr. Baqri has
