Introduction
Organisation behaviour is determined as an area related to study that
purpose is to formulate model that is adopted to predict cases and controls
behaviour within business organisation. Therefore, this assignment is based
on the case study of Thames Valley Building Society in which Tony Jackson
employed at busy branch office on apprenticeship scheme but left the
company after period of 2 years and there is not any kind of permanent job
position available. But after 9 month of period, there is a rapid growth in
organisation so that new position is established and Jackson got that
position. Therefore, there are different kind of issues that is faced by such
as taking responsibility, issue related to performance management,
improper relationship management and motivation of subordinate. And it is
also necessary to provide recommendation to organisation so that they
perform their work in proper manner (Ahirwal and Maiti, 2016).

be recognized by everyone in firm. So, in context of case study they need to appraise hard work of
subordinates so their readiness to do work increases.
Career growth- This is another crucial factor in which main focus on employee is to achieve higher
career growth so that they can fulfill their long term goal. Thus, according to case study, they need to
ensure that subordinates get appraisals in every six months.
Hygiene factors-These refer to those factors which do not encourage personnel and dissatisfy their
inner capabilities.
Salary- This is hygiene factor because, if subordinate salary is limited and is being not enough
according to their own satisfaction level than that can leads to negative motivation (Hattie, 2020).
Therefore, from discussed paragraph it has been evaluated it is critically essential for organization to
conduct appropriate forms of development or training program so that subordinates motivation level

As per vroom expectancy theory, the performance level applies to desired
outcome, the opportunity related to promotion, providing the path and many
more. The organisation focuses on assessing annual bonus that is calculated
depend upon individual level of performance it is considered by business
performance and target that must be accomplished by business organisation.
As per Maslow hierarchy theory, it is helpful in showing of subordinate
supported to reach highest level related to self actualization, enabling
organisation to accomplish financial success in future period of time.
According to Hertzberg theory, it is adopted as a method that helpful in
exploring job satisfaction between subordinate. As per this theory this
motivation theory that is applicable to work place that is motivated and the

There are various recommendations that can be provided to specific organisation according

It is necessary to motivate subordinate by providing them reward according to their
performance that helps them in retaining them for a longer period of time. In assistance of
this, it is helpful in performing different work in an appropriate manner during particular

In addition to this, it is necessary for management team of company to focuses on
managing performance of individual person by using KPI in order to perform different task
in an appropriate manner.
Taking responsibility is the recommendation that can be provided to management team. It
is necessary for the manager to take their responsibility in order to conduct different task
in an appropriate manner.
According to case study, it can be recommended to manager to provide effective training
session in order to increase their knowledge towards performing different task in proper
way. It is helpful for them in achieving goal in pre-decided time period.
