INTRODUCTION
Organizational behavior is a process that study about the employer and employee in the
organizations. This is the main part of organization when the employee can behavior towards the
organization. This process also help for identifying the employee engagement towards the BBC,
this report will discuss about the BBC organization which is based on the board caste company
to provide the different services to the customers. BBC has to change the culture, management
and communication system. This report will discuss about the different Political, culture of
organization or power of company. This report will discuss about the importance of employee in
company. BBC is a leading firm for increasing their business all over the world and trying to
influence the staff member of team and individual. Furthermore, it also summarized the various
theory or concept that help for managing the business operations and functions. This assignment
will discuss the different type of effective team that support and analyze the development of
dynamic cooperation’s. At last task, evaluate the different philosophies of the organizational
behavior.
TASK 1
Organizational culture of BBC in Past and todays
BBC is based on the board casting organization in the Britain and this organization
provide the different types of services to their customers. This organization is providing the
different services related the news and information etc. In past few years, BBC face many
challenges regarding the working culture because employees are not communicated with the
other employee (North and Jensen, 2018).
Some employee of BBC create political environment that impact on the organizational culture. In
this way, many staff member complaint against the culture and management system of the
organizations. In April 2000, the director of BBC decided to track all the information and records
of trade. At present, director has been change the culture and management because they planning
an effective strategies for controlling and managing the entire business in proper manner (Van
Knippenberg and Hogg, 2018).
Manager of BBC understand the need and requirement of business operations and functions in
effective manner. Nowadays, this organization is recruiting the best employee that manage the

entire business process and increase their business all over the world. In this way, BBC can be
achieved their goals and objectives. Afterwards, the director has been changed the working
culture of organization and maintain their services in proper manner. Organizational culture is
the approach for providing the direction of business according to the theoretical perspectives. For
Example- Deal and Kennedy is defined the culture of organization and also measure the few risk
of organization because in the large firms which provided the high quality of services to their
customers. It also characterized by the team and group meetings, buzzwords.
According to the Charles handy, the organizational culture can be divided into four different
ways.
Power culture- this is based on the actual power of the few control from the center such
as web. BBC follows some power culture and have specific rules and regulation that
manage the business operations in effective manner.
Role culture- role culture is main part of organization to clear delegated towards the
higher authorities that are taken the decision regarding the business development. BBC
firm follow the hierarchical system to control the business issues and problems in the
organization. Power is defined the position of person and their expert skill and knowledge
(Hosgorur, Altinkurt and Kan, 2017).
Task culture- Task is based on the team or group of people for solving the problem and
issues. In BBC, this organization is build an effective team for performing business task
for growth and development. This culture often the different type of reporting line in the
matrix structure.
Person culture- A person culture is that where all the individuals believe in themselves
superior to the company. Many professional partnership can operates the person culture
because the partner bring the expertise in the particular areas.
Political and power behavior of Manager of BBC
Politics and power are the major part of organization that existing the organization
culture of BBC. Manager is responsible person for managing the entire business activities in
proper manner. Manager is playing important role for communicating with the other employee to
identify their requirement towards the business development process. BBC always concern about
the customer services. In BBC, higher authorities have many power to control the entire business
