before getting any punishment for the same . This thing helps in minimizing future crimes.
Offenders who are suffering from problem of mental health can be given special care rather than
punishing them. The government and authorities instead of punishing them can send them to any
rehab centres where they can be provided with proper care and treatment. This can assist
offenders in enhancing their health outcomes Psychotherapy is the treatment of mental illness
provided by a trained mental health professional. Psychotherapy explores thoughts, feelings, and

behaviours, and seeks to improve an individual’s well-being. Government can involve in
providing offenders with mental illness with this psychotherapy. They can also appoint special
nurses who can be engaged in taking care of these type of patients, so that their health outcome
can be improved. Giving punishment to these type of offenders can make their health weaker.
They can suffer from many other physical health issues because of the punishment
(Berryessa, 2016). So punishments should be avoided and they must be treated right. Health care
professionals can also engage in motivating them to participates in physical exercise such as
yoga, aerobics, meditation and many more. This can assist the patients in enhancing their health
outcomes
