The machinery, equipment and environment at the workplace can be the majorcauses for the occurrence of the hazard at the workplace. Therefore such instances can causepotential harm to the person itself. A business can develop a health and safety programme toinform employees about the major risks which can arise and provide them with safety guidelinesso that hazardous salutation can be avoided. The justification for the same is that there arenumerous issues which are persistent in the market so an organisation have to inform itsemployees regarding latest development in the business. This will be helpful in avoiding majorhazards in business. The major approaches through which significant fatalities could be avoidedare making workplaces safer and matters relating to health and safety of workers should bethoroughly discussed amongst employers and workers. 2. importance of keeping exits clear of obstaclesIt is very important that emergencies in business kept clear of obstacles so that they areutilised in the best possible manner. Theirneeds will not felt until occurrence of emergency situation in business. Therefore a professionallooking after the health and safety of business employees and customers must remove all theseobstacles so that safety of individuals is secured. The major approaches through which safety ofpeople is assured is that a appointed individual needs to be pro-active and ensure that exit path isnot cluttered. The explanation for the same is that fire exits are to be kept clear of the obstruction forthe safety of people inside the premises. 3.
