Background of the project
In today’s business world online digital platforms in recruitment and selection process
save huge amount of money as well as time and aid organisation to save essential document
associated to candidates that can be further reviewed and retrieved in an instant manner (Al-
Khasawneh, 2021). There are different types of online digital platforms that allow company to
recruit and select candidates in an effort less manner by screening them in a quicker way.
Volkswagen is one of the leading motor vehicle manufacturers founded in the year 1937
operating in automotive industry. This report is based on the topic investigation of online digital
platform in the recruitment and selection of employees in automotive sector which is helpful in
determining importance of online digital platforms for company in terms of their recruitment and
selection process.
