In present time, lost academic time could be considered as one of the element, which is
needed to be improved. The reason behind this is that, students mainly spends there time in
performing extracurricular activities rather than this, it is much needed for them to concentrate
over a particular task and develop approaches (like breaking down a particular task in sub tasks
and assign time to all the sub tasks) in order complete it in suggested or agreed time frame.
Active personality, proper engagement, developed interest, discipline are activities through
which student behaviour can be maintained. It will enable teacher in identifying change in their
behaviour and then accordingly giving response. However, on basis of behaviour teacher can
strengthen relationship with student. Moreover, it will benefit in encouraging student. They will
learn with more enthusiasm. If teacher is able to motivate student to engage in activities and
creating classroom environment.
POSTING 2
Achievement declines could lead students to face ample number of issues like low
grades, less learning preferences, increase in disengaged students and so on. It consists of only
one reason and i.e. lost academic time. Developing interest of students with the help of engaging
lessons like providing them with curiosity based story in regards to a particular topic. Positive
results can easily be seen by considering learning tools and through utilising a whole new
technology as these are said to be some of actions that has proved fruitful in the past.
By this teacher can motivate student to gain knowledge and learn new skills. With it, they
can create a positive classroom environment. Also, changing teaching strategy will motivate
other student as well to acquire new skills. Thus, by improving student ability, their behaviour
can be improved.
POSTING 3
Insufficient time given to a particular skill, which is linked with academic mastery could
lead students to go through various problems. It has been found that, behaviour management if
undertaken by teachers it is may be possible that all the issues could easily be resolved right on
time. Away with this, scaffolding and feedback could also be considered as the two approaches
that are required to be utilised so that maximum benefits could be find out. This is way to
motivate students to learn change their negative behaviour. Furthermore, on the other hand,

making the overall learning as fun can be used by teachers when it comes to develop interest
among disengaged students. This will directly lead teachers to enhance the engagement of
individuals and will lead to reduce the lost academic time. It will encourage student to develop
new interest and engage in activities. Hence, it will result in changing behaviour and
transforming classroom environment. Here, 5E Instructional Model can be utilised so that
engagement of students would directly get increased. Here, 5E means evaluate, elaborate,
engage, explore and explain. These are the few elements that are required to be implemented by
both teachers and students to reduce the time taking process of time on-task.
