which, the customers will be able to search for nearby restaurants and food joints and order some food that
will be delivered directly to his location at minimal or even no cost. For this new business, a website for
access using computers and app for smartphones need to be developed. In addition to the development of
the app, some other requirements are to be fulfilled including sealing partnerships with various popular
restaurants and food joints for the including within the service scope and getting other service benefits.
In this report, a project plan has been developed for the development and implementation of the new
business venture.
2. Project scope
The overall scope of the project includes the following items.
Development of an online website for the new food delivery business
Development of a smartphone app for the food delivery business
Contact with restaurants and food joints for license and partnership
Hire delivery boys
Purchase bikes for the delivery boys
Purchase delivery bags and print company logos on the same
Purchase company logo inscribed t-shirts for the delivery boys
In addition of the scope and objectives, the website and the app will need to have the following features.
Online registration system for new users and login system for already registered users
Enter information for personal profiles of the users
List of all restaurants in the selected area
Detailed food menu and prices of dishes under each restaurant
Selection of dishes from a restaurant
Place order
