1.0 Introduction
This particular report reflects the functionality of an online job portal that I have
developed. It has been found that with the changing time period the competition level in job
market is increasing daily. In order to somewhere minimize this issues this online portal is being
developed. This web application is entirely dedicated towards online information regarding the
job seekers as well as job recruiters. It will help both the job seekers and the job recruiters to
select their desired destination. Based on the qualification, skills, knowledge and experience a
list of companies will be shown to the job seekers on the other hand, recruiters will be ble to let
the job seekers know about their vacant job post.
2.0 Discussion points
2.1 project description
The project is developed within an accurate arena which offers both the job seekers and
the job recruiters as per their requirements. The web application is very much user friendly the
users hose are also not have professional knowledge about technology can also easily this portal.
In the website home page there are options for registration and login. The users who are not
registered to the website will not be able to search for their desired criteria. In order to get
secured access of the portal the users have to register themselves to the website with authorized
id and password. I can say that the portal is much secured and whatever details both the job
seekers and the job recruiters will be given cannot be accessed easily. The project is again
developed using high level technologies. Three different are developed n this web application an
admin, job seeker and job recruiter. The admin is that authorized person who controls the overall

thus initially it was quite difficult for me to apply my knowledge in the field where I have to
develop a properly working online web application on online job portal. I have taken training on
PHP and after that I became able to apply my knowledge in the practical field.
2.6 Future Attempts
I think that, this portal can be further developed with different additions. An online
guidance can be implemented that will guide the job seekers to choose for the best option.
Further I have also planned to implement an online aptitude test for the job seekers. This
evaluation test will let the job recruiters know about the taken and skill of the job applicants.
