Example the way in which online learning affected own performance as a student
Now use of online methods for the purpose of learning has been enhanced. I personally
rely on virtual platforms for getting wide range of information. Here, I have the option of taking
live sessions from my own space. I do not need to travel to any particular place for attending
classes. Rather, I can attend sessions with my own convenience & time availability. If, I miss the
live session, I can also go through with recorded lecture which imparted me complete detailed
knowledge about the topic. Apart from this, I can take multiple short term courses along with
degree program. These short term certifications not only provide knowledge but also help in
order to improve portfolio. Through online learning, I can learn from top educators which is
might not possible in class- room session. For me, online learning is one of the best ways to learn
more & more with immense flexibility & convenience. With the help of E – learning, I also get
opportunity to interact with different students belong from different geographic location. It will
help me in order to gain insights about diversify culture which will impart me greater confidence
to work in diversify environment in future period of time. Hence, online learning helped me a lot
in terms of gaining valuable knowledge, skills & capabilities which will play a crucial role in my
future endeavors.
Although, Online learning offers great feasibility & flexibility. In spite of that, I faced
several hurdles as a student due online learning. I am not able to directly interact with my
facilities. So, I am unable to get the feedback of teacher which is really important to make
improvements in performance for future betterment. Due to lack of face to face interaction, I am

also not able to clear out my doubts. My confidence level is also getting affected as here, I am
learning virtually. There are no face to face meetings, presentations, interactions & other
curriculum activities which are vital for building confidence. Due to online learning, I also lose
my concentration level. It made me careless as there is no proper schedule & compulsion to join
the class at certain time. I used to get indulge in other work due to the flexibility feature of online
classes. During online sessions, I was not able to make friends, interaction with different people.
For a student, it is imperative to have friends but it is not possible in virtual session. Besides this,
I cannot build relationship with faculty members due to which I face ample of difficulties in
clearing out my doubts. There is no scope of extra curriculum activities in online sessions which
obstruct overall development of student. Hence, I faced several problems during online learning
which also might hamper my future performance.
