Online learning is concerned with taking educational practices over the internet through utilizing the
digital devices.
 In the current era, scope of online learning has inclined due to number of factors which has both positive
& negative influence on learners.
The current report will preset light on advantages and disadvantages of online learning so that depth
understanding can be obtained.

What is online learning
It refers to the virtual environment in which students learn via
utilizing digital devices such as smart phones, laptops, etc.
 Online learning is basically an internet based educational
environment that connects students of diverse background to
understand distinct perspective.
 In the current environment there is higher requirement to gain
information from online learning method for setting coordination with
changing technological advancement (Szopiński and Bachnik, 2022).

What are positive of online learning
There are several positive sights of this method of learning which can incline
competitive advantages that are as follows:
 The one of the significant benefit that can derive from this method of learning is
accessibility of time and place (Dhawan, 2020). There is no limits of accessing
on any time and from place.
 Efficiency of delivering lessons to students is higher as can been easily
transferred via videos, PDFs, etc.
 Improved students’ attendance, variety of learning of styles and higher level of
affordability, etc. are the pros which can be derived by using online learning.

What are negative of online learning
Each method has few limitations which are required be evaluated in order to get
depth understanding about it.
 Biggest con of studying through online method of learning is inability to focus on
screen for longer duration which hamper concentration power.
 There are several times in which technological issues become challenging while
learning via this (Mukhtar and et.al., 2020).
 Managing screen time, teacher training, sense of isolation are other challenges that
can be attained while using this particular technique that affect capacity of learning &
gaining knowledge.

CONCLUSION
 From the above report it can be concluded that online learning is associated with gaining
information from using internet.
There are various pros and cons which are obtained by implementing educational learning
practices through this method.
The merits are accessibility of time & place, scalability, efficiency of learning, etc. on the
other side, limitations are lack of concentration, technological issues, etc.
