INTRODUCTION
I am currently studying at Business Management at London of School
Commence & IT and working at Sainsbury`s as an online shopper. Skilled on
leadership, communication, adaptability, listening, patience, learning and imaginative
thinking. The course of Business Management prepares me for career through giving
me skills, experience and knowledge to succeed. At university, preparing for success
is termed as an interactive web learning tool for students that are preparing
themselves for higher studies or employment. Preparing for success is start of
academic journey of a learner in which a portfolio is prepared with the help of mini
project workshop. It is responsibility of a student to prepare themselves for success
in the same manner they plan to attain their career goals. With this, a student
prepares their mind and spirit for professional life so to turn it into a successful
reality. Mini project workshops are project based courses that are organised for cost
effective and learning fundamentals by applying theoretical concepts in effective
manner. In development of my employability, mini project workshops contribute by
helping me in distinct manner, such as forming groups, gaining insights about group
behaviour, learning in depth with minimum time, thinking about projects and
integrating with guides together with outside agencies. They provide a student an
opportunity for expanding skill sets, knowledge base addition to wider learning
experiences. Moreover, mini project workshop contributes in development of
employment of an individual because it provides an edge over recruitment for
carrying out practices harder with the purpose of ensuring good career. Present mini
project workshop entails portfolio of documents which highlight professional
achievements of mine. It enhances management skills of a student, boost their
earnings, guide them in learning new strategies, develop insights from like-minded
professionals and share new knowledge.
This Portfolio includes a variety of documents to highlight my professional
achievements in a cohesive manner in electronic format. I am encouraged to
consider an electronic format because it offers the distinct advantages of portability,
connectivity and accessibility. Portfolio of document comprises of 12 elements that
are Reading Log, C.V., Cover letter, Personal Development Plan - PDP, Research
skills - Questioner, Research skills - Interview, Group presentation, Team work,
Ethnical Issues - Informed consent, Leadership, Communication skills and LinkedIn.

1. Reading log:
Reading log is termed as a diary or journal that lets a student or individual to
record their redaing practices. For a student at University, reading log assist in
practicing rereading books that improves fluency and involves use of log strengthens
comprehension which is fun activity (Lerche and Kiel, 2018). For me, reading logs
remind for reading and encourage to record all the thngs that I have read. With this, I
focused on book titles which I have read so to keep up my good work. In order to
improve my reading skills I tried to read books and articles regularly and the table

Personal development plan is an action plan which is used by an individual for
identification of goals as well as what they want to attain in future (Liedtka, Hold and
Eldridge, 2021). With this, I as a student is able to outline the strengths that I already
have and what I need to develop for reaching my career goals together with
improving my weaknesses that I think I may have. By using an effective personal

Group presentation serve purpose of seeking out addition to report
information for a text which is valuable to class discussions. It is significant
component of academic addition to business projects. Group presentation is
important for me as student as it help in learning ways to speak in front of others. A
student in group presentation assist in learning ways for preparing materials related
to public presentation along with practice that improves speakingf abilities (Fort,
2019). At same time, for an employee at multinational company, effective gropu

Teamwork is a collaborate effort that is undertaken by group of set of
individuals for achieving common goals as well as completing a task effectively and
efficiently (Vogler and Et. Al., 2018). It teaches essential social together with
communication skills including effective speaking, listening and hence forth. In my
university, I complete one of my project with team work wherein I learn ways for
listening leaders along with coaches for performing individual roles, I as a student in
team working learnt about how to listen to others for functioning effectively and
grabing more opportunitis for career growth. While carrying out team work for
completing an assignment, use of Tuckman’s team development theory helped me
and others to develop insight that team develops ability and maturity, establishes

team addition to work with stronger together with weaker points. Moreover, while
working in an organisation, leadership can assist me to prevent burnout of any
human resource due to effective delegation of roles. It strengthens good relations
and motivates a person with huge influences in order to cope with dynamic situations
or events. A leader who explodes in rage along with screams to teammates generate
negative work environment that leads to unproductive results.

Communication skill is the capability of a person that is used when giving
along with receiving variant types of information. In competitive world,
communication skill helps students to adapt with growing age together with
concentrate on key aspects. With effective communication skill, an individual
achieves success in personal and professional life. For instance, it helps them to
have better participation addition to contributions. it is learnt by me that
communication skill is significant for a learner as it persuades them for perceiving
surroundings that boosts their level of confidence ad morale that limits their stress.
Moreover, for me, without well-developed communication skill, I might run risk of
falling behind my classmates or becoming emotionally overwhelmed as well as
withdrawn at university. My academic success depends on my communication skill
as it is an art that always keep room for learning, growing addition to developing my
talent. At workplace, it increases job satisfaction, foster engagement, guide in
handling conflict, builds better relationship and develop trustworthy relationship
among superiors and subordinates.
