2. PROJECT OVERVIEW – (Individual Work)
The case study project is set out to establish an online management system for providing
automated features for stud farms. Currently, the management procedures in stud farms
are all handled manually i.e. from registrations of services to management of payments
and funds – all are done manually. Not only this process consumes too much time but
also it is very error prone due to manual handling. Furthermore, deployment of manual
labor for all the business processes also requires high amount of expenses in order to
pay the wages of the deployed personnel. On the other hand, the online management
system will only require small amount of maintenance costs and will also remove manual
labor and all the errors and additional work time of the manually handled process.
3. PROJECT DESCRIPTION & OBJECTIVES – Individual work
The project has been approved by Globex in order to develop the online management
system for stud farms. Globex wants to build up a new business plan on the developed
system and hence, implementation of the necessary features in the system is necessary
in order to achieve business viability in the later stages. The main features of the system
includes a business portal for the stud farms through which they can perform a number
of business operations like service info display, space for online booking, online payment
gateway and others.
Accordingly, the objectives of the project are set as follows.
To propose an alternate system to replace the current manually operated system
at the stud farms.
To develop an online stud farm management system for providing a wide range of
benefits to the stud farms
To use a specific budget and time schedule in order to complete the entire project
To design the management system that will be commercially successful in terms
of price as well as design

6. Team Rules & Expectations
Individual Work
o I had mixed experiences from projects in which I worked before. While
sometimes had some positive experiences, sometimes I also experienced
negative experiences both of which helped me learn about performing my
duties as well as coordinate with the team to successfully accomplish all
the deliverables of the project.
o For the positive part, I learnt various skills that are necessary for working
in a project. I learnt to efficient handle time limits by preparing work
schedules during the course of the project. I also learnt to use the
resources allotted in the project efficiently to achieve the outcomes
required from the project.
o For the negative part, I faced some difficult challenges that I could not
always solve alone. In these moments, I asked for help from my team
members and not always I got sufficient help from them. From these
incidents, I learnt to enhance my problem solving skills so that I did not
have to depend on other team members of the project.

Team Work
o Team Values – During the planning phase of the project, we the team
members agreed upon certain team values that we needed to follow
throughout the entire course of the project. Some of the main team values
that we agreed upon included coordination among all the team members,
display of professionalism and positive behavior with each other and
emphasize on team integrity more than anything.
o Code of Ethics – Each team member must abide by all the codes of ethics
and professionalism as set by the university. Violation of any of the codes
or showing unprofessional behavior will incur strong penalties.
o Rules and Expectations – During the course of the project, the team
members need to follow some rules and expectations that are listed as
follows.
There should be no conflict between the team members and no personal
rivalry allowed inside the team during project work.
All team members should be present during team meetings.
Each and every member of the team should contribute equally to the
project. At the end of each day, each team member should send daily
report to the project supervisor that will include the duties performed by
the member in that particular day.

1. Learning Cycles – I need to see at the least 3 meetings. I have facilitated 3
meetings.. – Team Work
Learning cycles give structure to your team meetings and accountability for when you
and your team work outside of the meeting schedule
Firstly, prior to your next meeting, assign roles to the team. There should only be two
central roles – the organiser and the scribe:
