Introduction
The term online voting system is defined as a method which is based on the
web servers and networks for collecting and managing the process of
voting. It is a part of an electronic voting system that collects data through
internet and computer networks which can help government communities
for managing elections in an effective manner (Abd-alrazzq, Ibrahim, and
Dawood, 2012). The purpose of this project is to examine the key idea
behind the online voting scheme and evaluate their working principle. For
better understanding, a literature review will be conducted in this research
that will help for analyzing the results and findings of previous papers based
on an online voting system. It is observed that the online voting scheme can
be utilized for casting votes at the time of elections held in the colleges and
schools.
Literature review
The aim of this section is to examine the key aspects related to the online
voting scheme and demonstrate the viewpoints of other researchers on the
online voting system. It is observed that the online elective scheme is a very
common topic for the research and there are numbers of writers provided
their opinions on this topic.
Anand, and Divya, (2012) argued that online voting refers to a web-based
voting system which is an advanced technology that can help the
government for effectively collecting votes and managing elections easily.
This paper is based on the online voting scheme where the authors
identified the key factors linked with the online voting system. It is observed
that the OVS can be utilized for casting numbers of votes at the time of
elections and consumers can provide their votes from any location with the
