As a result, for an F/A-18E/F Super Hornet next- generation strike fighter, the workforce team learned to reduce an engineering change procedure from 15 steps to 4 by utilising the principles of Lean production (Boeing.com 2012). The engineering changes reduce the cardinality or dependability while allowing parallel production through Lean management and production conceptualisation namely pull system and Kanban system. However, the company also realised that engaging employees in the process through flexible work environment from conception stage to development and delivery, requires Lean strategy. Some shop floor workers identified that the less workforce is required (Vythinathan and Yusof 2017). Consequently, Boeing minimises the available workforce in each department for every shift, which also increased the satisfaction of the employees and made their morale high. Recommendation to improve the performance Boeing has already made some remarkable improvement through the lean management strategy. However, in terms of implementation and organising the objectives the company still needs some significant changes. The following recommendations can help to eliminate further challenges: The departments, which are already familiar with Lean methods, should help facilitate the melding of Design Thinking.It can remodel the in service optimisation of Boeing’s vision to out-innovate the competition. It can also lead to find the synergies and blending the strengths to maximize and leverage (Sparrow, Hird and Cooper 2015). Therefore, the goal of Boeing should be encouraging stronger dialog between Lean and Design Thinking practitioners while finding ways to unify these methods. Nowadays, customers equate value with products and services that are not just simply better, but innovatively better. Therefore, the innovations of Boeing should resonate with the significance of the delivering them in the first place. This why-must mapping can lead to a shared belief between both the supplier and the customer that the service or product truly has

Bowing has to ensure the project integrates the customer’s needs and expectation. Therefore, the company should ensure designers to know who the customers are and how the system should fit into their lives or their work. It can help to demonstrate the usability in sense of quality-in-use aligned with the objective of the design team (Sisson and Elshennawy 2015). As a result, Boeing should also form a flexible team that will understand and address all aspects of the customer’s experience within the system. Conclusion This part of the study will provide a summative overview of operation management of Boeing air Craft Company which concern with the sells of different aircrafts manufacturing product. In conclusion it can be concluded that operation management of Boeing deals with converting materials and labour into goods and services for maximum profit to the organizations. it is an American Multinational organization that designs, manufactures as well as sell airplanes, rotorcraft,rockets,satellitesaswellasmissilesworldwide.Furthermore,thisAmerican Multinational organization provides leasing as well as product support services to the customers all around the world. From the above discussion, it can be said that Lean operation allows any business to minimise the waste during procuring, manufacturing and delivering the product to the customers.
