INTRODUCTIONManagement and operations are two different concepts which are required to be focusedby all the organisations under hospitality industry as it can help to make sure that best servicesare provided to the clients. If facilities manager in the entity is not able to pay attention towardsboth of them then it may result in issues such as unsatisfied customers, decreased profitabilityetc. in upcoming period. The enterprise which is selected for this report is The Savoy Hotel. Itwas founded by Thomas Edward Collcutt in year 1889 and it is mainly established in London,United Kingdom. This assignment covers various topics such as operational responsibilities offacilities manager, legal, health, safety and environmental obligations to be addressed, range ofadministrative systems to support operations etc. Along with this, evaluation and review ofquality and effectiveness to the facilities are also discussed under this project. TASK 1Introduction of The Savoy Hotel with its floor planThe Savoy Hotel is one of the largest and oldest luxury hotels which are established inLondon and delivering best services to the visitors. It was founded in year 1889 by ThomasEdward Collcutt. It has 7 restaurants which also includes bars. There are 268 different rooms inthe hotel in which 62 are luxury suits and 206 are rooms. Some of them are having stunning viewof Themes River of London (Floor plan of The Savoy Hotel, 2019). In order to manage all ofthem following floor plan is used by facilities manager:1
