INTRODUCTION
The present report is based on the topic operations and service management which Is term as
functional responsibility that is used for producing the services after organization which also
helped them to provide directly to their customers. The chosen firm of the report is McDonald’s.
It is known as the one of the best food industry which serves all over the world in different
countries. The report will discuss about the operation management practice that is performed by
McDonald’s. Along with this it will also analyze how this operation management practice impact
the operation in regards to efficiency. On the other hand it will also give the information off our
technology can be imbedded in the process or evaluate how this has already been achieved.
Lastly it will discuss about the supporting function which are linked to operational management
practice and evaluate how they can assist with ensuring organization success.
Explaining operational management practice performed by McDonald’s
Operational management is known as the administration of different types of business practices
better used by the organization to create the highest level off efficiency that is possible within the
organization (Kim, nd et.al., 2019). Along with this it can be also known as converting materials
and labor into goods and services that will result in efficiently along with this it will also help in
maximizing the profit of the company. The best practice that is used by McDonald’s for
operational management practice is they want to cattle ate the company to the top in the foot
retail business. for this the company have used different types of digitalized information system
along with this they have also implemented Bell founded corporate standards that make sure that
they should serve quality in there all the aspects of the company. For this the company also uses
different types of quality standards by their regular inspections in there each restaurant. In
addition to this they also give regular training an education workshop which will result in
creating awareness among their employees on the quality standards of the company and
measures which will also include techniques of the customer’s satisfaction. The main aim of
using this practice is they want to improve and maintain their high quality product and services
in the world. For this they have also made their stores designing Decker whether it is interior or
exterior.
