INTRODUCTION
Operation management is termed as systematic process which assist business to
face all kind of problematic concerns adopting to suitable strategy. However, project
management is done through using significant tools, techniques and skill sets. In this
project it will be discussing about operation and its management in the context of
H&M (Bazmohammadi and et.al., 2018). This will be reflecting over lean principles
and various application of business. Moreover, this will conclude the explanation for
operation management as assisting company analysis showing the overall demand
to conduct operation.
1. An introduction to chosen organization
H&M is considered as one of the most valuable retail clothing brand. It is
growing rapidly in the clothing sector as catering bunch of options for children,
millennials, men and women (Zhen and et.al., 2019). The biggest competitive forces
of the firm is Zara as company relies to make higher sales profitability by making it
affordable to customers with better offerings. By supplying products positively
enables organization chance to collab with numerous people and make their
significant part in industry as well.
2. An explanation of operation vs operations management
Operations can be stated as the process of inner working aspect being
conducted within the organization. Such activities are performed on day to day basis
as having efficient process makes large size of business and markets. On the other
hand, operation management is associated with conversion of raw materials into the
finished goods through handling all labour to enhance the capital of firm.
3. A review and critique of the implementation of operations management
principles within the chosen organization
Operation management is the systematic approach which aids in conversion
of input in outputs and better supply chain management. In the context of H&M, they
obey with two different kind of operation system in the business such as closed- loop
and opened. By opened process company gets an ability to make rapid method in
terms of gauging the process and supporting with necessitate feedback to improve
the product quality and effective services.
