INTRODUCTION
Operation and project management refers to planning and execution of different

The main aim of operations and project management is to control and close all projects for
accomplishing top position in market. This report is composed from point view of MFI that is
operating their business in furniture industry and its headquarter is situated in London, United
Kingdom. Moreover, this report highlights on two different parts that is includes review and
critique of operations management within in the organisation. It also includes different stages
that are present as per project and documentation to ensure effectiveness of selected project.

MFI is a British furniture retail organisation that is the largest manufacture of furniture
products within UK. Most of the business outlets of MFI are exist in retail parts that are situated
with-in and beyond local boundaries of UK. The organisation was founded in year 1964. It is
well-known for their largest supplier of kitchen and house furniture (Weglarz and et. al., 2012).
Further, MFI abbreviation stands for Mullard Furniture industry which is currently operating
their business as a public limited company.

The term operations refers to the procedure that includes different processes, individuals,
equipment etc. that came together with in organisation for generating appropriate value in the
organisational products. With high value products it is also easy for satisfying needs and wants
