This report provides an overview of operations management and project life cycle, including a review and critique of the implementation of operations management principles within Unilever PLC. It also includes an analysis of the extent to which the operations management of the organization meets the requirements of the organization, and a discussion of continuous improvement as a philosophy and Lean principles. The second part of the report focuses on the project portfolio of In-House Food, including an explanation of each stage of the PLC that applies to the selected project, analysis of the project methodologies and tools used, and a review and critical evaluation of the effectiveness of the PLC in application to the project.
