Transformational: These kind of leaders work together with
the employees to identify the needed change, creates the vision
to provide guidance for change through inspirations. For
instance, a leader in TESCO works with the store employees to
identify the change required in the outlet and provide guidance
to their employees during change.
Achiever: They accepts challenges and support the team
members. They create positive team and interdepartmental
atmosphere. For example, a leader in Hotel Marriott works
with their employees and accepts all the big challenges and
achieve them. This has make the company to reach the top in

Strategist: Such leaders focus on organizational constraints
and perceptions. They are skilled leaders in creating shared
visions across different actions. For instance, a leader in
Burberry who identified the organizational focus and worked
upon it by creating vision with the employees.

Organizational Theory providing basis for the practice
of management
Scientific Management v/s Human Relation Approach:
Scientific management theory was propounded by Taylor in which he
gave 4 principles. If this is adopted than company can gain or loose:
 Better utilization of resources are done.
 Harmonious relations are maintained between employees and
employer.
 Helps in reducing cost of production.
 However, this theory is applied on simple organization thus, it cannot
be applied on the organization like SONY which is quite diversified.
