INTRODUCTIONOrganisations is defined as the unit of individuals who work together in order toaccomplish enterprise goals and objectives. There are different religions, beliefs and cultureswhich are followed by people and they are working according to these factors in order to achieveall their targets (Acharya and et. al., 2011). Organisation behaviour are described as those factorswhere people are having interaction with one another and they are working in order to achievethese targets. BBC are multinational firms and they are providing their services in UK. Theundermentioned report is based on behaviour and cultural aspects of people, different ways ofmotivating employees are used so as to achieve all their goals and targets and also philosophieswhich are related with different business situations.TASK 1a) Handy's cultural typology to determine the culture in BBCThe performance of employees who are working in a team can be greatly influenced byfactors such as power, politics and cultures at work places. This factor can be easily understandby the use of Handy's cultural typology. Culture is termed as set of ideas and behaviours ofpeople at business places. The culture was further classified into 4 components by CharlesHandy which are described below as:Power: This is one of the important factors which are affecting behaviours and the ideaswhich are implemented by people at work places. Power is shown at work place by higherauthorities so employees can easily achieve their set targets. The authorities are having the majorpower and they can greatly affect cultures of business organisations (Adeniji, 2011). The personwho is having the power can take effective decision which is beneficial for firms.Task culture: This factors describes those aspect according to which work is distributedto their employees and they had to perform accordingly. In team working task culture is one ofthe most vital aspect as it helps in achieving growth and success for business. All the people whoare following different cultures and beliefs are made to work together in order to develop goodrelations.Person Culture: This factor states behavioural aspects of persons at work places. Theprocess which is linked with employees are classified under this factor. The cultural factors arenot promoting growth of business but people are more focused on achieving their targets ratherthan organisations goals. This factor greatly affect productivity of business organisations.1

Role culture: According to views of Smith this is the ideal culture at businessorganisations. Each employee are given task according to which they had to execute theirworking. Employees are assigned the task which they had to perform according to theirstrengths. This is one of the important factor as it helps in analysing skills and talent of all thirpotential employees.b) Analyse of power, culture and politics and its impact on BBCThere is high determinative of culture, politics and power and they are helpful indetermining behaviour aspects of individuals. The ecosystem is linked with how employees arebehaving at work place. BBC have adopted centralised system for their business in whichdecisions are made by specific group of people. Managers are making plans which employeeshad to follow to effectively carry our assigned task thus achieving their goals and targets. Poweris mainly described as the authority which is given to individual according to which they had tocarry out their operations (Armache, 2012). There is major drawback of this factor as employeesare not involved in decision making process and their views are not given consideration.The cultures factors are linked with how employees are behaving with other persons atwork place. There are different people working together who belongs to diversified groups. Themain objectives of business are linked with providing quality services to all their customers inrelation to entertainment and also international affairs. Firms are giving attention to everybusiness aspects so they could easily achieve success in their overall business operations.Politics are also vital element as these are beneficial in state to improve cultural factors atwork place and this can be achieved with the help of authority and power. There are changesimposed at work places and these are beneficial in order to achieve success for firms. The mainaims of this factor is related with enhancing working productivity at work places. Politics arealso linked with making employees of different cultures and beliefs work together so firms canachieve their set targets effectively.M1 Critically analyse of culture, politics and power and influence on team behaviourAccording to views of Bolino, (2013) The three factors such as power, politics andculture are greatly influencing individual and team behaviours as there are different group ofpeople working together and they also have different views which may not be liked by otherpersons thus their performances will be affected.
