This presentation covers the benefits and issues with involving employees in organizational decision-making, ways to motivate employees, how motivational theory can inform employee motivation, and how Atlantis, The Palm motivates its employees. It also includes extension activities for further analysis. The presentation is relevant to the subject of Organisational Behaviour and covers Task 1, 2, and 3.

• Involving the employees in organizational decision-
making can create certain benefits as well as issues for
the organization.
• It is a two- way decision for the organization
wondering whether to involve the employees in the
decision- making or not.

and ideas may also be very time-
consuming.
• Sometimes excess information
dysfunction the accuracy of decisions
and hence, consumes additional time.

business operations.
• Motivating employees is directly
proportional to the company's success.

definitely boost the employees' energy and
mood.
• These little breaks can refresh them and
enhance their productivity at the work
place. They may also consider it as an
office perk or extra facilities.

Extension activities:
• Analysing how motivational theory can inform employee motivation.
• Motivational theories play a big role in creating a satisfactory work environment.
• Considering that there are a lot of factors that influence the employee engagement with the company that can create
uncertainties in the work flow, motivation theories and its application can empower the leaders to reconstruct the
energy in the employee structure.

• To ensure its employee satisfaction, it
uses different employee motivation
strategies to motivate its employees such
