INTRODUCTIONOrganisational behaviour means different reactions of various employees in theorganisation. It is very important to understand the behaviour of every workers because it affectthe operations of the company. When employees work in team the behaviour of every teammember affect the activities of whole team. It is important to know the interest of employees verbecause it helps to assign the roles and responsibilities to them(inder, 2014). Different behaviourof the employees is influence the achievement of goals and objectives of the organisation. Reportwill also including the motivational theories and their effect on the management. Report is alsogoing to describe some important factors which directly affect the behaviour of a employee inthe organisation.TASK 1 1.1 Explain various leadership theoriesLeadership theories are play very important role in the organisation because it helps to aleader for smooth functioning of their responsibilities. There are various leadership theories arementioned below:Trait theory: This kind of leadership theory is define that some people are born with the qualitiesof leadership. Such qualities are intelligence, creativity and sense of responsibility which areplay important role to being a good leader. Trait theory is focuses on a person's physical, mentaland social characteristics of leadership(Cummings and Worley, 2014).Behavioural theories: This kind of leadership theory is focuses on the different behaviour of theleaders which affect their mental, social and physical characteristics. It focuses on cause andeffect relationship of human behaviour of leaders. Behavioural theory is totally opposite fromtrait theory because it focuses on the thought of leaders are made, not born.Contingency theories: This theory is based on that there no single method or way of leadershipand every style of leadership is based on specific situation. Contingency theories of leadership isextension of trait theory because it describe that there are various human related with differentsituation in which a leader can exercise their duties.1.2 Explain impact of managerial styles on organisational effectivenessOrganisational effectiveness means when managers are set their goals and objectives,they also formulate some strategies which helps to achieve those goals and targets. If there isperfect match between management style and organisation effectiveness than it helps to achievegoals and objectives of the company in less time period(DuBrin, 2013). If talk about Tescowhich is largest retail store in UK, it is important to adopt those management style which helpsto increase the organisational effectiveness. Management style are affect the performance ofemployees in the organisation. Style of management means a way in which all the activities ofthe company is managed. Culpan and kucukemirogula propounded a model which helps to studyof different management style in the enterprise. This model is describe six dimensions such ascommunication style, decision making, leadership style, control mechanism, patten of orientationand interdepartmental relations. So basically styles of management is directly affect theperformance of each employee or a group. So it is important to maintain good link betweenmanagement style and organisation which helps to increase the organisational effectiveness.1.3 Explain motivational theories is affect on level of employee motivationThere are various motivational theories available which can be adopted by the theorganisation to increase the level of motivation of the employees. These theories is helps toachieve the goals and targets of the company. Efficiency and performance level can be increaseby give motivation to workers of the enterprise so motivational theories play crucial role whichdirectly affect the performance of the company(Pieterse and et.al., 2010). There are sometheories which a organisation can adopt are given below:Maslow's theory: According to this theory there are define five needs of individual which arehelpful to identify sources by which a person can motivated. First stage of this model is definephysiological needs of a individual which consists basic needs such as foods, shelter, cloth, waterand air. Next is safety stage of this model which consist financial and personal security. Aftersatisfy this need a person is come to their belongingness needs which includes love, affection,good relation with other person of society, relationship with family and other people. Next levelof this theory is esteem needs which includes when a person want to feel confident, selfdependent and respected by others. After satisfy those needs people want to satisfy their need ofself actualisation which includes when individual want to achieve their dreams.
