INTRODUCTION
Organizational behaviour plays a critical role in the development and the growth of the
organization as it is very important to have interaction between the people of organization. The
behaviour of the employee's in the organization have direct and significant impact on working
environment. Behaviour of employees include employees personal belief, feelings, background
and experience in the company. For managing and understanding the behaviour of individual,
organizational behaviour is a scientific approach. Furthermore, The behaviour of the employees
have great influence at work place. The attitude of employees influence the decision of
management and change the policies and rules and regulations as well. The organizational
behaviour of individual, group and structure have direct impact on the development and growth of
the company. BBC company has chosen in this assessment. The main objectives of this
assignment is to determine how company;s culture, politics and power influence individual and
team and discussing the theories and model of motivation as well.
PART 1
P1.Analysis that how company's culture, politics and power can influence and team behaviour.
The way in which a person or employees behave in the organizations is entirely depends
on the culture where the person is come from (Ehlers, 2017). BBC is the most popular company in
the world. For understanding the prior culture in BBC, we can make use of Charles Handy's social
model. Culture, politics and power of the individual is the fundamental areas of the organization.
Improvement and development in the behaviour of individual is very essential as because all these
elements lead to success or failure of the organization. In our chosen organization that is BBC, it
was seen that the administration and association of the company must be improved as because the
targets goals is to be achieved in any situation. BBC is using the model of Charles Handy's which
helps in understanding the behaviour of the organization. There are four dimensions in this model
which implies that the most important thing is the way of life.
Power- Each and every organization is worked with some crucial choice of individual and the
power as in some companies power remains in the hand of few peoples. All the decisions are
taken by them. The individual who have major powers of the organization enjoys privileges at the
work place. All the responsibilities are delegated by them to the workers. The powers of BBC is in
wrong hands as they are misusing these powers. They are giving instructions in very hard way and

treating employees in very bad manner. The whole life of BBC is influenced by these people who
are misusing these powers.
Individual- There are some companies where all the workers feel they are valued in the
organization. It is very important for company to follow this culture. In a person culture,
individual are more concerned about the own self rather than the organization (Searle and Rice,
2018). Worker comes to organization only for earning money not for any attachment which is not
good at all. For attaining the objectives of gaol it is very essential to get attach to the company. As
in BBC the employees are not self-satisfied with the management of BBC. It is very important to
build bond relationship with employees working in the organization. BBC should develop the
culture of togetherness in the organization.
Role- Role culture indicates duties and responsibilities according to the quality and education. The
social framework expresses that representative ought to be fragmented based on the part and
obligations they perform inside the company. The division of the work in BBC is in well manner
and as per the quality of the workers. This kind of culture represent the representative's part and
responsibility will be detached by their capableness and their ability to action. As in the BBC the
best management can modify the situation surroundings and responsibilities still the lower level
worker are not ready to understand their parts and work in the organization.
Politics- This is the best elements in the organization. In each and every organization there are
political factors which influence the powers of top level management. If the person who are
performing political functions think betterment for the organization lead to the best for the
development and growth of BBC (Goh, Ritchie and Wang, 2017). If workers working in
administration are transforming their powerfulness into human action then they will surely
be impulsive towards politics of administration. But the workers desire to be top
management can lead to negative effect on workplace politics as well they start
manipulating others in BBC.
Impact of Cultural diversity on team and individual.
In the era of globalization, Cultural diversity is the most current trends. BBC serves all
over the world which is very difficult for the company to manage all the culture, politics of
every individual. But it is very important for company to manage all these affairs so that
there not a negative impact on the performance of the company.
