Introduction
Organisational Behaviour (OB) is a wide concept which define how an employee
behave and what are their attitude at workplace. It defines human behaviour as an individual as
well as the group of individuals (Volery and Tarabashkina, 2021). It is important to create a
positive organisational behaviour within an organisation where employees and management team
has good relationships with each other. OB can be affected by many factors like organisational
structure, behaviour and attitude of management team toward employees, efficiency of strategies
and policies of company and many others. OB impacts upon many factors like OB defines the
culture of company and it also helps to identify ways to develop good culture through the good
behaviour of their employees. Secondly, if employees have good and positive behaviour then it
directly increases overall productivity and profitability for company. Hence, there are many
advantages for keeping positive organisational behaviour. Morrison is a supermarket chain of
UK which deals in selling general items like food and drinks, clothing and etc. The company was
founded in the year 1899 by its founder William Morrison. It is headquartered in Bradford,
England, UK. This report covers the theories and impact of culture, communication and
motivation factors upon Organisational behaviour.
Main Body
Culture
Culture is the belief, values and norms of an individual which they believe strongly to
live their lives (Gaspary, Moura and Wegner, 2020). In context of an organisation, organisational
culture is expectations, believes and experiences of the employees to develop their working
environment. Culture of organisation can be controllable because it is developed and created by
the working people of the organisation. Hence, organisational behaviour leads to create culture
of an organisation. In context of Morrison, their culture is created to motivate their existing
employees and to attract new talented employees. They basically focus on doing right things at
right place on right time. They analyse their key activities contributing to their main task of
organisation and perform that activity in a right way by skilled employees and the complete their
work on time. Hence, their organisational believe is to completing task on time with right person.
Their management team also help them to develop their culture by supporting their employees to
perform well. Their good culture attracts customers to purchase products from their stores. Their
